Great idea using a sponge to mottle the undersides. Looking great as usual.

Pretty much what the ground crew would have done, on the real aircraft, thought maybe with old rags.

I normally build cars. I just recently discovered Wingnut Wings kits. I have acquired 6 so far but have yet to start one. I don't have one of these but have the AEG (late) on my list to try to get. Mark from Montana sent me over. You do excellent work and look forward to seeing more. I'll be watching

Thanks Michael, welcome to the channel and kodos to Mark))) Late version has a lot similar parts, so my build won't be too different. Good luck with your WnW builds, their kits are awesome, you will love them - 100%

Hi Oleg. The cockpit fit inside the fuselage. That has been the trickiest step for me with WNW builds. The large cockpit openings allow for some pretty good visibility of all that fantastic detail. The sponge technique on the undersides of the wings worked very well. And the top side camouflage pattern turned out great! Well done. BTW, I’m still waiting for some beaded nylon thread that I ordered. Then I’ll get back to my WNW build. Looking forward to your next episode.

Hey Mark, thanks for the comment, yes the vast majority of the cockpit will be visible, however the top wing might obstruct some viewing angles. I was wondering, why I do not see any updates on your build and that's because you are waiting to the mail, makes sense.

Greetings my friend, the build is looking absolutely fantastic, your painting skill is a.so excellent, I wish I had purchased on of Wnw's kits when they were readily available, looking forward to the next update, best regards from Australia, Les

Thanks, Les, I think you still can buy some of them for a decent price, you just need to search very hard and only a few models, like Gotha G.I

Another masterful episode and an amazing camo scheme done well. I really enjoy watching your videos as they provide not only inspiration to tackle WW1 planes but the tips that I've used in my attempts on previous builds. For e.g. using a sponge to create the underside mottling, such a simple yet very effective technique (another one for the vault 👏) The AEG is looking great, Oleg.

Well done, man! What courage it must have taken to go up in one of those death traps.

Thanks and every WW1 project, I have the same idea, but when I saw this plane in person it looked solid, at the same time I wouldn't trust wood, linen and just tubes :-)
