Meet...❤🧡💛Quetzal💛🧡❤! He used to be the Skywing royal's personal animus (sane) until eventually being exiled for being considered too dangerous for his Tribe. Quetzal goes by he/they pronouns and has 4 siblings and is the oldest out of all of them. He is a firescales which made it really hard for him growing up (and in the end led to the accidental incineration of one of his younger brothers in an attempt to pull him away from an attack where he forgot how harmful his abilities were). His colours (colour palette) is Yellows, Reds, Oranges and Black and has an animus-touched bangle around his wrist - which doesn't melt or burn - given to him by his mother when he was around 4 years of age which enchanted him to be a firescales, the young dragon didn't find out about this until much later. He has a Rainwing venom scar that he gained the day before he got his enchanted bangle (which was purposefully given to him by his mother to make sure he'd never be harmed like this again but it actually harmed him much more). His personality traits used to be: demanding, brutally honest, helpful, opinionated and focused, but after he'd been cursed with having firescales he grew reserved, afraid, self conscious, nervous and had anxiety. Quetzal eventually found out about his animus-touched bangle and destroyed it when he killed his mother (lore + explanation for another time x3) and returned to being a normal dragon but by then the animus magic had taken over his mind enough for him to lose control of himself and he was exiled from the Sky Kingdom. Summit is a female Skywing. She has no siblings at all. She is a firescale and an animus at the same time. She has an animus-touched bottle of poison attached to a necklace around her neck. She animus-touched it herself, though it's unknown what she did to it. She has a scar on her leg. Summit is immature, sarcastic, honest, and generous.

Finch grew up in the sky kingdom in the eyes of Queen Sterling, soon going into the arena to fight. She became the champion because of her firescales. She has a sandwing venom scar, suprisingly. She was in the arena with the sandwing when he got her arm, leaving a circle of black that seemd to be crawling across her body. The venom spread across her right side, almost reaching her eye before it burned somehow. The venom spot shrank, staying on her arm and slightly up her neck. The sandwings tail began burning as Finch stared at her claws. Finch killed the sandwing anyway. Anywho, her scales range from yellows to reds. Finch also had seven siblings, four surviving including her. The other three were either killed in the arena, sentenced to death in skywing prison, and disappeared after he was betrothed to Princess Harpy.

Ember has fire scales. Her job in the Sky Kingdom is a soldier, a topped rank one. She has a animus touch scroll, a earring from her grandmother that was enchanted for her to control her fire scales and a rare stone horn ring, sky fire. When she was exploring the old NightWing Kingdom that got destroyed by a volcano, someone tried to kill her. She won the battle, through she almost died from lava, she has a lava burn scar she will remember. She is sarcastic, helpful, brutally honest and gullible.

Starling is a male SkyWing that has bright red scales and pink on the extra parts. He has 9 siblings: Summit, Rook, Cerise, Longspur, Halite, Tahr, Canary, Rogue and Quetzal. Starling has no firescales. After everyone hated him even though he was nice, Queen Soar exiled him! Now he brings a bottle of poison and wears chain bracelets. She is a Firescales with temperature reaching 2002 Degrees Celsius. She is a partial Author, but she hasn't been working on many scrolls lately. She wears a necklace made of rubies and wears gold rings on her front talons. She has one scar on her tail when a scavenger tried to attack her the scavenger died from old wounds and from Phoenix pinning him down and melting him. She is Silly, Kind, Mysterious and Fierce. She has 1 friend Scorpion who is a Sandwing but was banished by Queen Thorn for stealing a mere amount of gems Scorpion is an Animus and can touch Phoenix. Her parents are Peril and Clay who reside in the Skywing Kingdom under the care of Queen Ruby. Phoenix and her mother have a strong connection and Phoenix would sacrifice anything for her. Clay and Phoenix have a one-of-a-kind connection and Clay would always take care of her.

Finch was born along with 2 other siblings, the eldest one, who was his parents favorite, and his twin brother Jay who was killed at the age of 2 by his parents when they couldn’t find a use of keeping him because of his fire less scales. They tried to dispose of finch at birth but failed, his father burning a talon instead because of Finch’s fire scales. Finch is a royal guard to the queen, who I will name later, though he is forced to, as he was only 5 when he was assigned as a ‘royal guard’. Finch is constantly kept watched by the queen and other sky wings, who have one weapon that can damage Finch’s scales, lava. They burned Finch once when he was 5, trying to escape from the palace, which he cannot leave unless with the queen. This left a burn on Finch’s shoulder. “Quill… was my sister, she had a full yellow head which then faded to pale orange all the way through her body and tail. Her legs and talons were the colour of red sand. She always wore this necklace that… *protected* her, mom used to say. From bad dragons, and it did!… for a while, until she took it off… I’ll get to that later. During the war, she was only 4 years of age, it was horrible. Left and right the opposition shot, frostbreath hit her on her left! Misguided fire on her right… she could have never flown again. That is why it was so easy to capture her… too easy. Once she was healed, Quill became a teacher at school for young dragonets. Quill was loved among the dragons, she had that effect on people, a thing about Quill was that her scales were warm, our scales aren’t usually warm. Everyone usually laughed it off as if ‘she got a little too much fire’, we didn’t know it was literal. After 3 years if teaching (Quill is now 7 years old), Sunburst got annoyed at Quill. He was only 2 years old but had this gut feeling that made him distrust Quill. Instead of brushing it off he went into detective mode, his first thought was the necklace Quill always wore. She stayed there, not moving as her tears evaporated from her cheeks. Guards soon arrived and took her away to trial. I’m glad they at least let her speak, she was known to be a braze warrior and an even better teacher. But just because- because- she was *different*. Made her unfit for society and had to be killed. Quill didn’t fight back. She accepted her death as you’d accept a gift for your hatchingday. Her character goes well even though she lacks power. I like that it doesn’t make her any less of a skywing :D

Pyro is a male skywing with more of a sandy color palette but no one made fun of him he was the queens son after all and he has firescales so they all know he will kill them if they get on his bad side or any side of him for that matter.he also has 4 sibs and he’s the oldest he has 2 little sisters and a little brother but his mother also had a egg so he’ll soon have another little sister or brother.the skywing a found how to make fire proof metal so Pyro wears a metal armband and Metal glasses.and of course he has no scars he’s has fire scales so no one can touch him.he’s egotistical and brutally honest but also Active and Demanding.

Phoenix had come from a long line of Phoenix's, mimicking the death and rebirth of a Phoenix, he was also a mix of bright reds and oranges, further mimicking a Phoenix. He was of a family of little economic and political power, and was the 2nd of four siblings. His family had been loyal to the SkyWing crown for hundreds of years, taking up arms whenever their Kingdom needed them, so he along with his older brother Smoke had enlisted during the SandWing War of Succession, where he was posted on the SandWing-IceWing border. He was known by his fellow soldiers for always giving a good show, from acting over dramatic, to just making jokes, though he was lazy at certain times. During the storming of a hill that over looked a good ten miles of flat tundra which gave the possessor the advantage in the area, Phoenix had received a spear wound to the shoulder, and after the attack had failed due to IceWing reinforcements and possible counter-attack, he was left behind and taken prisoner by the IceWings. He was held prisoner for two months until the SkyWing-SandWing forces had finally drove the IceWings off the hill, and he was reunited with his older brother, remarking: "Glad you finally got here, though I was beginning to warm up to those icicles, who knows, I could've melted them!" before being sent to the reserve, then when he was deemed not eligible to keep fighting, he was sent home where he was celebrated as a hero by his community, living his life as an author based on his experiences in the war.

My Wings of Fire skywing OC is Harpy, she's a female skywing with dark pink and white scales. Harpy is a nice and sometimes comedic dragon but she's also little bit of an introvert and prefers her alone time. Out of her six siblings she was the only one who was born with 3 legs. But despite her missing leg she's still married to get around the kingdom. Growing up Harpy was never interested in fighting or being on a Battlefield, but she's always interested in travelling so Harpy decided to become a merchant delivering packages and making trades but she barely talks to any dragon and just leave the packages at the front door. Sometimes on her trips she likes to collect flowers and sometimes wear flowers behind her ear. Harpy is well respected in the sky kingdom and with all these new deliveries and travelling to new kingdoms, overtime she slowly starts to open up two more dragons.

🧡💛Phoenix🧡💛was a royal servant for the kingdom of skywings.Her intelligence and independence grew jealousy from the kingdom making the king and queen jealousy just for this rainwing being a servant for a skywing clan.With her Carmel like coloring and blue eyes she was quite loyal even in a enthusiastic glares given yet she was exiled the fallowing evening for strangling the queen with her sharp talons after the queen had spoken bad about her 5 siblings she's the oldest of since they were exiled years ago.Yet even with her Carmel color she still has her mothers fire scales and breath.Earning her prison rank she was titled a burden to her royal family making her flee the kingdom that evening even being hunted just so the queen can finally get her talons around Phoenixs neck.[I'm running outa time but her death was poisoning from the lake and royal guards mainly because she was wanted for her record'ill get you in the afterlife'is her fatal last words]😊

Gale was a younger sibling of 4 and an,older sibling to 5, causing him to be rather forgotten. With no animus powers or firescales, his family often saw him as "just another one," always focusing on the special, youngest, or more politically powerful of the brood. Gale tried to be as generous to others as he could, but being dull, single minded, and more than a little sarcastic made him no one's favorite. From a distance, he could be lost to any other Skywing, sporting no particular accessories and having plain colors. (I don't know how to say it any better, but it's pretty much the palate that looks like the Burger King stripes but without the green 🤷‍♂️) He was only a royal gaurd, which gave him both the battle experience to be the only member of his family to fight, but also gifted him the only thing that could single him out from a group: a scar lashing across the space his left ear once occupied. This gave him terrible ear aches (or ig hole-in-head-aches for lack of the ear) whenever the weather got stormy, or even just building up to a storm.

Pyro is a red-pink male with 8 siblings and no firescales. He is a royal advisor and works part-time as a teacher. Pyro had a belt of scrolls and a poison-filled dagger, a horn ring, a cloak, and an enchanted bracelet that gives him the ability to turn invisible on command. He has a scar over his eye since he is not a good fighter (thus he has the poisoned dagger). Pyro is lazy, sarcastic, demanding, clever, jealous, confident, and impatient. Even though he may be rude at times, he is polite and very smart, he also talks very professionally/proper. Pyro has always been overlooked by his parents and never received the love he needed from them. He was the second smallest (middle child) and 7 of his siblings never cared for him. Flare is a female firescales dragonet. She has 4 siblings (Her fireless twin, 2 older siblings, and 1 little brother). She has some white markings, but is mainly in shades of pink, with some vibrant and darker reds. She is an artist, burning images into wood and sometimes carving stone (since stone can't burn). She is the Queens personal animus (good), and wears enchanted tail/ arm bands. She has a small scar on her leg, but isn’t the best fighter. She is patient, confident but slightly gullible.

Meet Ember, an animus who also has firescales! She's a quite big dragon, with bright red scales. She's wearing horn rings and some poisonous plants, both enchanted to be able to be fireproof. Because of her unique abilities, from the moment she hatched she becomes the queen's personal animus and later on, fighter. Kind of like Peril - except she was mainly used as an animus. After the queen realised the consequences of an animus using their powers too much, she decided to just keep forcing Ember to use magic for her until she turns evil enough to fight on the arena. It worked. Originally, Ember was a patient and generous dragonet but the magic's influence has made her cold and cruel. She was always a quiet and introverted dragon, mainly because she was never able to interact with anyone but the queen. Is there any hope for her yet?

Rook is a Female Skywing her colors are peach white orange and red with 3 Siblings and yes she has firescales and she is a merchant she has an animus-touched object a bag and a herb behind her ear and a broken horn a broken tooth and a broken jaw she is patient,egostical,Gullible,talkative, and shy.

Aurum is a shameless female SkyWing with rose-colored scales. She has two siblings. She was born with firescales, but her mother gave her an enchanted arm band that neutralized that ability. She also wears a sapphire ring gifted to her by her sister. She only has four talons on one hand, the fifth replaced by a venom scar. One of her wings has a large burn which limits her flying ability. Despite that, Aurum is still a silly and sarcastic SkyWing who can be brutally honest and very loyal.

Ember is a shy firescales skywing who fights in the arena. Her firescales are very weak, so she is not resistant to heat if it is hot enough. Once, a Mudwing who was half-immune to fire, fought her and burned her wings off, she is now flightless, and she was fighting in the areana because the queen (Queen Copper, Queen Scarlet's mother), was afraid she might hurt and burn down the kingdom. She has been injured with many many scars, and the healers can't heal her becuase of her firescales. Because they are so weak, she is wins every battle in the arena, but can still get hurt unlike Peril who hasn't been born yet in this time. Queen Scarlet was just a little dragonet back then as well.

Rouge is a female Skywing who was born in the outskirts of Ex Queen Scarlets Castle, near the Diamond Spray River. She has a colour palatte with colours of beige and other shades of red and light pink. She has 8 siblings who treat her very well, she never likes to leave them. She always wanted Firescales, but was also scared that she would get dropped off a moutain aswell. She also is a Teacher at Jade Moutain Academy! She teaches history about Queen Scarlet, lots of Students get intrigued by her stories. One time a Student gave her an artifact they found in the Diamond Spray River. The artifact had a bunch of mud on it, as she rubbed it off she realized it was a...crown? Where did they get this? She kept it somewhere safe. She has actually fought in Queen Scarlet's Arena before, ( Queen Scarlet has been dead for 1 year at this timeline ) she remembers getting sprayed by frostbreath, it stills hurts when she touches it. Meet Shrike! He was born into a very big family. He has 4 sisters and 2 brothers. He is one of the oldest, along with Skylar, Alya and Cloud. The youngest are Dusk, Horizon, and Dawn. Skylar has Ruby and golden-yellow scales, she is very tough and is very protective but is very stubborn. Alya has sunset orange scales that fade into a beautiful shade of red rose, she is playful, kind, and loving. Cloud has deep red scales that fade into a pale orange and pinkish-red, he is calm and reserved but talkative. Dusk has dark purple-red scales that fade into a pumpkin orange color. He is quiet, stubborn, and rude. Horizon has golden-yellow scales that fade into a orangey color. She is energetic, playful, and watchful. Dawn has bright orange-golden scales, she is very sweet, kind, and friendly. Shrike has ruby red scales, that fades into a sunset orange and bright yellow. On the tips of his horns, tail and wings are a dark pink-red. And around the eyes and on the very tips of his feet is a dark purple. He is polite, immature, gullible, active, and brutally honest. Anyway, when he was born he was born with firescales. His parents made sure to hide him from everyone else so Shrike was isolated once he ever started his life. He was always kinda lonely, most of his siblings didn't hang out with him cause they were either scared of him or thought that made him dangerous. Only Dawn hung around him, but his other siblings especially Skylar would hate it if he even got anywhere near her siblings. Dusk often always bullied Shrike. His mother was also an Animus dragon, she would often give Shrike gifts. A few of his favorite gifts were the animus-touched bracelets that allowed him to not set things on fire when he touched them, a gold necklace that is fire proof, and a earing that is also fire proof. When he was old enough his parents finally started allowing him to go out into the world, it wasn't bad at all for Shrike. He enjoyed soaring in the sky for hours until he got tired. Overtime he started to not care that he didn't have friends. He mainly didn't have any friends because of how immature and brutally honest he was. When he got old enough he became the royal advisor, which was interesting to him since Sky wings don't like firescales but the Queen didn't mind at all. He learned overtime to be more polite, although he would still be brutally honest if you asked him to answer honestly. One day he found a Mudwing in Skywing territory a distance away from the palace. He was curious what a Mudwing was doing here, so he approached the Mudwing. The Mudwing was startled and tried to threaten him. He laughed at the Mudwing, and she glared at him. They introduced themselves and her name was Petra, she was the same age as Shrike and got lost while flying around. He told her that he had firescales, he was expecting her to be scared but she wasn't. She apparently had fireproof scales. He was honestly super thrilled that he found someone that he didn't have to worry about accidentally hurting. He had to leave her and went back to the palace at dusk. When he was going back home 3 dragons were surrounding him. He knew who they were. Tornado, Sunlight, and Storm. They oftend bullied him and never left him alone. Tornado also had parents who had animus magic, and he enchanted himself and his friends objects that would protect them from fire. So they often physically hurt Shrike, mainly because Shrike was weak. They flung Shrike around, and slashed his tail. Storm broke Shrikes jaw and even though Shrike had tried to fight back he really couldn't since he was outnumbered. He was luckily saved by Petra who decided to follow him. She helped take him back to the palace. She explained what had happened to the guards and Shrike told them she meant no harm. Luckily the Queen allowed Shrike to get medical assistance. After a few weeks, he was all healed up. Although he had a huge scar on his tail and his jaw was now uneven. Terra resembled more of Petras genes so Terra wasn't a firescale and looked more like a Mudwing, Terra was also born with fireproof scales. Shrike is now a lot more mature and wise since he's older. He is now more polite and tries to not be so brutally honest. He is still very active and isn't so gullible anymore. His siblings trust him more now and somehow all the dragonets really admire him. She is confident , demanding , funny , focused , clever and paitent. Here is one of her spying missions. Summit was in the mud kingdom , covered in mud allover...great. She had made herself hidden in the mud to spy on the mudwings...thats atleast what Queen Garnet had told her to do. She was pecifically spying on Copper , a mudwing who was blamed for stealing skywing treasure. Summits shimmering yellow eyes were fixed on Copper as he stalked past , unaware of the skywing watching him. Another mudwing walked over to Copper. Summit pricked her ears to listen in. "Copper."
