New Zealand National Film Unit presents Wings Over New Zealand (1941)
The National Film Unit worked with the RNZAF to produce this film in 1941. It publicises the strength of the thousands of New Zealand pilots who went through the Empire Air Training scheme. This film emphasises the growth and development of New Zealand's Air Defence capability since 1937. It covers the training airmen had to complete to become active pilots in the RNZAF.
