Did you consider taking a card draw turn at some point with the kelp gull? It might have been a nice way to see a lot of birds.

Good point, I didn't actually think of that as a food dump. In reality though, I had cards that I wanted to play, so I was never tempted to dig beyond what Wood Duck could provide. If I was getting desperate for a large volume of cards I probably would have pursued that option.
