I love this endgame! Very interesting and counterintuitive. I think skipping the moorhen and playing the kite+partridge would have been a slightly better endgame, unless I'm missing something. Playing the blackbird is worth 2 points, while the partridge gets +6 extra eggs (5 from partridge, 1 from discarding food), +1 from breeding manager +2 points from ecologist, which is 6 points better than the turn laying eggs (but one less roadrunner hunt). So that endgame is 3-4 points better than the game. I think also better would have been to play the kite on the turtle dove with the moorhen and then play the partridge. Compared to the game you'd get an +1 tucked card, +1 breeding manager point from partridge, +1 point from partridge, +4 extra eggs from the partridge, -2 from not playing blackbird, -4 for no turtle dove, so 1 point better than the game. I'm also wondering about endgame play blackbird with moorhen, *draw cards* and play the kite on the turtle dove (5 point turn), then play partridge or something better in the grasslands and lay eggs twice. Compared to the first endgame in this comment, it has +2 tucked card (kite/blackbird), +1 egg on blackbird, -2 eggs from partridge, -1 egg for not discarding food, -2 points ecologist, -4 turtle dove, so 6 worse than the first endgame and 2-3 points worse than the game, but the chance to top deck an eagle. None of these was enough to sway the game though, and it's really hard to do these calculations during a tournament game (I messed them up multiple times writing this comment). Tough loss, it was well played with the cards you had. I'm thinking that Moorhen might be stronger in Oceania, since you have better food access and nectar makes drawing a bit less of a gamble. I really appreciate the videos!

Off topic, but I don’t think the new predators that reset the birdfeeder are as good as people say. Activating them gives your opponent a fresh feeder reset, maybe minus a rat or fish. Each reset will probably allow easy access to a fresh batch of nectar.
