Finally a fountain pen that I can have a say about. I have it in the version that is most similar to the Montblanc 149. So in black with a round top and the vertically striped ink window. Mine also has an "F" nib. I won't be posting a review video for at least 2 weeks, as things aren't going well for me at the moment. But I can already say: I'm absolutely thrilled with what WingSung/Junlai has brought back onto the market. Quite simply: The affordable alternative to the MB 149 or, to put it another way, the better Jinhao X159. I can only recommend it!
I agree, this fountain pen is easily one of their best and from all the China pen manufactures, probably the best copy of the MB - not that I would personally know, because I do not have the MB version. But, with the copy aside and just looking at the fountain pen for what it is, it is a very well built one. As usual... I wish speedy recovery and nothing but good health my friend.
My Wing Sung 630 posts perfectly. No issues since I received it a few months ago. It has a lovely big steel nib that is a joy to use. I like this pen so much, I purchased a black one to pair with my blue. Nice scribble!
i love all your content. learning about new pens is always very interesting, and your “scribbles” are actually beautiful works of art that i’m very sure you could sell, and/or make prints to sell, maybe somewhere like Etsy. anyway keep doing what you’re doing, i’ll keep liking every video and hopefully the algorithm finds you a bigger audience soon. ✌️
Nice pen. I love the texture in the finished drawing. Really nice. I would have loved to see how that first try turned out if you finished rendering it. I like the motion in it.
Same... I'll probably revisit the idea in the future. Sometimes, in the moment though, you just don't connect with things and is hard to realize what you have in front of you. I should get in the habit to put things that I don't connect with in the moment aside, rather than ignore it, and have a look at it again at a later time.
Yet another pen that I would love to try but would be too big for me. It is hard for me to go above 14mm diameter in pens. Glad to see you liking yours with all the issues fixed. I'm curious, since you are able to turn your bespoke pens, are your able to create different body parts for your existing pens? Say a barrel with those arcylics of yours? Lazy ink is 懒人墨水. Lazy person ink, as the brand. Nothing much there really, the Chinese brands like messing around with their naming with what they think see fit. For example, 金豪, jinhao, is gold luxury.
Yeah, it sucks... but there are other similar pens that are pretty good I would say - like the Moonman P136. I can definitely make body parts for fountain pens. The problem is getting the proper thread to match with the pens. Sometimes companies get weir tap/dies combos that is hard to find or expensive to get. As long as I have the tap and die, is not an issue. Thanks for the translations! :)
