Pakudiwa Shanduko....I like the direction he is now taking with his music. Subliminally making very powerful political statements, awakening the masses to the need and importance of Political change in Zimbabwe. This song is not to be interpreted literally i.e to say Winky D is now aspiring to run for a parliamentary seat, NO. It is rather metaphoric in that he is sighting the shortcomings of the current members of Parliament/the Government at large and proposing that now is the time for any willing citizen of this country to capitalize on these shortcomings and bring the necessary "shanduko" change in Zim. He is an artist, a very crafty one for that matter and he knows better than to become a Politician and risk dividing his fan base. He has to tread carefully though, for he is now treading on thin ice. Many have lost their lives for the same cause.
Point of order Mr Speaker ...............hapachada mafunny apa pakuda chi Gafa Muparliament, ndipei mukana paka booka ndinovhara (ini?), sa moses ndinotungamira huyai tiende, munosiya matigadza muparliament....gafa chete chete chete ......heavy tune Winky D... you just did it again delivered a hit!!!

It's 2024, over six years later, and this song is still relevant, speaking to our current affairs. We need chiGaffa mu-Parliament - not necessarily Winky D, but Gaffa as a movement, an ideology of independent citizens (kwete zvemapato, but chi-solo zhet) who speak the truth and stand for what is right. Gaffa chete, chete chete!
