Thanks for the "deep guide" on the winlator I've been trying to find someone who literally explained everything inside of the winlator and finally i found your video.. i knew they were lying about" "best setting for blah blah blah"copy my setting to improve fps sht" some indian scam here teaching us some bullsht and this dude is our hero thanks man it works for me 🤙 keep it up you earn your self a subscriber. Edit: I knew there was something wrong with checking all the cpu affinity but all the indians keep saying "check all up to improve fps"

Is there a way to disable the keyboard in Winlator? I am trying to play The Walking Dead the Final Season in it and am encountering a problem. No matter how I setup a physical controller, USB-C or Bluetooth, the Y button also acts as the spacebar. The spacebar in the game when using a keyboard & mouse is the pause button (not bringing up the menu, Pause written on the screen type of pause.) So the game becomes near unplayable because any time pressing Y is needed, such as stabbing a zombie in the head, the game is Paused instead.

I have an issue where I can't run installers due to privileges not being granted. There's no option to run things as admin so I cannot install games. Would appreciate some advice.

so i put some installation files '.exe' in a folder and it does not even show them on the winlator file manager 'Computer'. tried changing winlator options and changing the file location using the file manager built into my phone. - POCO F3

The only folder I could see that had permission to view the phone storage was the downloads folder. Is that where you put your files?

'Unnable to initialize DirectX. Make sure that you have DX8.1 installed or later' Or something along those lines. I was able to get games tarted bu using the exagear DX packs. But it kills FPS. Starcraft runs full speed. After installing the pack it goes to 5 fps so is not a good alternative it seems. Phone: s21 ultra, exinos GPU. Any toughts on this?

@KeiRetroGaming i tried running warcraft 3. Dxvk 11 won't work. Switching the driver from t+z to LLVm does the trick but i get 3 fps.

I've recently tried this out today. I'm trying to find a fix for the stuttering audio sound it gives. Some games run smooth but the sound is terrible, and as for someone who'll use this for visual novels, well... the sound matters for me.

I have a phone with mediatek 1080, its a pretty new processor but mainly its just a slightly stronger varient of the mediatek 900 And yet it runs feeding frenzy in a awful rate like it lags most of the time

I don't think it's possible but I haven't tried it personally. A friend of mine installed steam but ran into memory limitations on his device. GOG installers are the easiest from my experience so far with Winlator.

I constantly get 10-15 FPS for Spiderman Web of Shadows. Even when I reduce to the lowest resolution, it's the same frame rate. Do you think it's due to my phone or the emulator? If it's due to the emulator, do you think the FPS will get fixed?

It could be a badly optimized game from the sounds of it but I've never tried it personally. If you've tried the settings I showed you might need to use something like CPU Float to keep track of usages in android to see what's capping.

@@logicstone1661no lo hagas hay formas de mejorar los fps así me pasaba en Motorola g200 snapdragon 888 y busque un vídeo de un bro que se llama Marvel vs Capcom 3 a 60 fps y sorpresa antes me iba a 10 y 8 FPS y ahora a 60 70 FPS que le mueven no sé pero si mejoro mucho con una configuración que dejó el bro

p.s. 3gigs or less works alright but youre not running any decent 3d game (idk should depend on device) if your aiming for running indie games then it should be more than enough. I have a powervr gpu with 3 gigs of system ram and a few complex 2d games ran alright (it's a powervr don't expect much)

Failed to initialize graphics. Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings. InitializeEngineGraphics failed I got this while trying to run a game. Used the exact same settings as the video. Anyone have a solution?

It's still pretty early in its development cycle so it could just be bad compatibility or you might need a faster Android device. It seems to be getting better all the time though but I couldn't run anything on my other devices, only the snapdragon 870 tablet I have.

It'll run fine without it, depending on the chip your device has. In MIUI on Poco and Xiaomi devices, it pushes the throttle rate way further ahead, minimizing or even eliminating any FPS loss due to heat.

This isnt system memory, this is only for dx like gpu name 😅 and in wine use taskmgr to set affinity for the game to only the prime core, on old games like oblivion or nfsu, it only uses 1 Thread and try to lock your cpu clocks it will get you about 300% fps ❤
