I came back to this video to make sure I was doing things correctly. Although it was working fine before when I start VARA the 7300 goes into transmit mode without a change in frequency or a change to USB D. FT8 works fine. This has only recently happened and it was after I did a P to P exchange. Have you ever experienced this? I have the setting back to VARA HF Winlink.

Did you manually set your Icom Address to 00? Isn't it usually 94?

I think I just used the default settings. But yes, it is usually 94.
