Quick question, when I was looking up info about upgrading the tires to the 225/75 R16 size, most resources say that the 225 size requires 16x6 rim size. But I saw the Ekko comes with stock tires at 205/75 R16, which are only compatible with rim size of 16x5.5, but it seems like you kept the stock rims, is there anything I'm missing or how did you do that?
Thanks for reaching out Alfred. I hope this message reaches you in great health. We’ve been running the 225/7516s for quite some time now. There was no requirement to change out the rim or do any modifications. I am one of hundreds, and hundreds of EKK Owner is running the two 225/75/16 tire on the stock rims. We just left an EKKO rally in Tucson, Arizona, where there were more than 95 EKKO’s on site. I didn’t count how many, but there was a strong majority of owners that were running the same size tire we have. There were also folks that were running the 245/75/16 tire all on the stock rims that came equipped with a EKKO. I don’t think you’re necessarily missing anything. I think it just has to do with where the information is obtained and who is sharing it. I hope this helps.
I haven’t choose and option yet. Have you found anything on your end? Thank you for leaving a message and watching our channel. Sorry I missed this message previously.
I love the Mods and the Vid. Do any of these mods affect the factory warranties from Ford or Winnebago? Also, I know it’s small, but the slightly bigger tires affects the speedometer/ODO right? Both would be slightly understated if my logic is right … (1 wheel Rev = ~1% farther traveled in the 225 vs the 205).
Hi Robert, it’s Jason. Thanks for watching our channel and reaching out. It is the Columbia river. The GREAT Columbia river! Well, you know it would be interesting of Santa Claus compact that on his sleigh. Then again once he sees what it’s all about, he may keep it for himself lol.
We went with the VanCompass TOPO 2.0 lift. No leaf spring change required. It comes with the rear “lift blocks” and the shock clearance kit. Also all the other front components.

@@ekkonesters599 we love to see how people set up their rigs, but we really enjoy watching the journey getting where you’re going and seeing the different places along the way. Love seeing the different destinations you folks go to and what you can do once you’re there. 🤙🏾
I know this is not the video for it but it seems like you posted the components needed to hook the trailfire directly to the quick connect propane on the Ekko. Where can I find this info? TIA!!
I just saw your request and I apologize for the delayed response. Here’s the link to the hose in the kid if you have any questions just let me know.amzn.to/3s8ppyn
The bumper itself is about 100 pounds and depending on where you read information from, the winch is right around 60 pounds. The skid plate is only 16 pounds. And then there was some reduction very minimal of course when we took some things off while installing the bumper.
