I wish I could tell WINNER how they helped me heal when I was at my worst. I was going through a ugly divorce and lost my father back to back, it was the most painful year in my life. I was depressed as hell maybe even thinking ending my life when I came across Team A's Smile Again. I remember sobbing but at the same time smiling while I was listening that song. After that, I became their fan. Each and every song they wrote helped me, healed me one way or another. They became such a joy in my life. I felt their pain, their happiness. When they struggled, I kept cheering them up in front of a screen just like they cheered me up all those dark times. now years later, here we are. I still love them just like I did before. I still wish them the best. all the success, all the happiness, love and all the good things in the world. such a bittersweet feeling this I have feeling right now. as if I'm closing a chapter finally in my life but remaining hopeful for the tomorrows. For those who do not know their stories: Jinu practiced for 5 years before his debut. He was the trainee who practiced for the longest time in YG. He said he had slept for 4 hours the most during that five years. I’m a silent “InnerCircle”. This is the first time I’d commented of their MV. Can’t imagined I’ve been a fan of them for 7 years. I started a kpop fan because of BIGBANG and 2ne1. Became a YG Stan then became a IC. I’ve just watching them through my phone, wishing to meet them someday. I’d felt superb happy when they’ve won “WIN”, cried for a couple of days when Nam Taehyun left the group, excited when they will release a new song/album. Actually it doesn’t matter when you become their fans. Because when you watch this mv, it feels like you’re with them from the start. It feels like we grow together and witnessed everything. We complete each other. We seek comfort from each other. We need someone that can help us grow to become a better person. The more we grow, the more humble we become because that is what WINNER teach us. WINNER gives us comfort and we give them love. WINNER often scold us if we’re spoiled. We get hurt and we make up. It feels unreal of how sincere and healthy this love is, and how this love is not one sided. Most importantly not crossing the border of artists and fans because we don’t own them. We are not perfect because we’re human being. We can get hurt, frustrated, offended just like them. I hope we can give love and spread kindness to other people so we can get that back in return. They won the survival show and had a successful debut, but then all attention was an iKon because of the petition and then Winner went on hitatus and came back minus one member, they had to work to become relevant again. I’m so thankful that Inner Circles are such an amazing fandom and are great streamers because most of kpop disregards Winner and it’s heartbreaking. Inner Circles fighting!!!
