I think the team has figured that if he's going to be fighting close often on some maps anyway, why waste the extra dosh on an awp? Sure, he can't hold some longer angles when he does so, but the switchup alone could easily catch a team off-guard. These are the kinds of things that make cs such a great tactical experience, down to the economic ramifications ofc

@@libraryofthoughts0 troll is the least you can say about shotguns bruh. I have onetap headshotted someone from snipers nest when he was top of mid on mirage with nova. Later that game i bought sawed off with terrorist and chain killed them to oblivion. But for me it only works on silvers, i can't manage to do such stuff on higher ranked players.

ENCE/OG Aleksib looked pretty good as well, especially OG Aleksib who lowkey carried OG both as a leader and as a fragger.

it is because the Mag 7 exist on the CT side. And Shotgun is only useable for holding some certain niche angle like Banana.

​@@tuananhhoang7113The MAG-7 is absolutely not a replacement for the XM-1014. The actual reason is because the MP9 is much more versatile, albeit somewhat worse up close. On T-side, while the MAC-10 is not nearly as good as the MP9, the XM-1014 is poor for map control so Ts can't really make effective use of it.

I think its use case is limited to narrow corridors so if you need to rotate and play for long distances you're immediately at a disadvantage

Apeks are 14th in the world, Navi is 9th, how is that not a challenging team?

Didn't look half as clean as this in any of those Fall Groups games. Teamplay and setups were subpar even in the games they won. Now they played two full T sides sticking to their gameplan and executing it well.

@@WMMFY correct me if im wrong but Apeks ranking is still inclusive of the major run they had with jL no? Besides, what I meant by 'challenging team' is something like Faze (yes, even despite not being at best form), G2, Ence, or Vitality. Teams that have proven to be strong enough to win trophies this year or have great performances in recent months. Would've mentioned Heroic too but it seems they're in a rut right now sleeping their way out of EPL haha I think it's fair to want to see a match like that to see how Navi will fair considering the last time they had a match like that they got 3 total T side rounds and a 2-16 map loss.

Cant remember enough out of fall groups to comment on that since i was too busy grieving g2's failures at the time 😂😂 But one match of theirs i remember is the g2 loss they had against Navi, and Navi did still look rough around the edges on their map control and calls, despite the W. You may have a point. Ah well, either way, we'll see in playoffs. At the very least I root for iM.

the winner of the sunday's match gets one round further in the playoff stage, so basically to top8 instead of top12

16 teams advance to playoffs (4 from each group). The winner of each group goes straight to the round of 8 (quartefinals) so that is determined by Sundays NaVi-FaZe game. The loser of that one still goes to the round of 12. Basically by winning you skip 2 playoff elimination matches and by losing you still skip 1 (round of 16). Honestly think this is a great system and makes every match matter.

It was a tight angle with no head showing. Aleksib hit him 4-5 times and he didn't die. You could argue he could've tried to sneak further up and go for a trigger discipline play, but not really an aim issue here since he hit most of his shots.
