My sister made ube (pork) sinigang before....but used chunks, which I think helped it from getting lost among the other flavors. It was still subtle, but it was good.
Question: does anyone know how long ube lasts in the fridge, specifically canned ube halaya? (Store bought) Google says that it doesn’t last very long, and should be eaten pretty quickly after being opened, but I wasn’t sure if that was true. I love ube so much, so I really want to know how I should handle it. Thanks! 💜
