So in a Class 2 facility, the more people in the place, the harder it is to win big . . . because you're playing "bingo" against more people, and they can change the odds out on the floor at any time.
This helps me out a lot, I play at Class 2 casinos and I’ve won $40k at 4am when hardly no one was in the casino and have lost $5k on promotion nights a couple different times when the casino was packed with people, I think I’ll start going when the casino is less crowded and see how that works for me.

This is exactly what I wanted to hear! I play at the Class II Casinos, and my research has directed me to most of what your saying. I do have a question, I hope you can answer. If you look at the session numbers, 40 numbers are in yellow, and these numbers are updated on each session, then the called numbers display about every 2 seconds in white. I am wondering if you know why you can only win a prize if you make a pattern in the 40 yellow numbers and not in combination with the white numbers? This could be just the way they set it up based on what you said about Class II casinos, regulate themselves. I do find it unfair that in a "real" bingo game, all the numbers (1-75) affect the outcome of the game, and not just 40. When you play real bingo you have a set card and there are numbers called that are not on your card. These I call filler numbers, think of the filler numbers as a timer, personally, I like to hit a pattern early when the timer starts, it seems the more filler numbers are called the less chance I have to win because they take up spaces away from my numbers, I don't know if you understand what Im trying to say .

I do get what your saying, and it makes sense, that there will always be numbers in a session that will not be on your card (a bingo card has 24 numbered spots to fill + the free spot and there are 75 total numbers in a session), but what I don't agree with what the casinos are doing, is, in a "real" bingo hall game, "all" 75 numbers are valid numbers, it just comes down to what the numbers are on your bingo cards, but the way the casinos have it setup is, you can only win in the 40 yellow numbers (this calculates to 53% odds of winning). I guess thinking about it, depending on the number of prizes available per session, eventually as more numbers are called, you will no doubt get more winners (all cards will be filling up). This is why my dad goes at 4am, during the week. We're at the end of 2022 and he's up $30K risking no more than $200 on any given trip and knows to leave when he is up.
Video idea. I worked with a guy that used to be a tech and he tried to explain "slot math" and said when a progressive game gets removed the accumulated progressive dollars has to stay on the casino floor so they add transfered to other progressive machines.
I’ve definitely won more in my local class 2 facilities in the odd hours vs going on say Friday or Saturday night when it’s packed. I’ve also seen major downgrades occur to pattern payouts on several games at random parts of the year, It’s like a cash grab for the casino time. You can certainly tell it’s unregulated.

In WA state the machines are an extension of the WA State Lottery, and the public has been assured through the media that the minimum payout has to be AT LEAST 75%, the same as the lottery scratch tickets. I've heard this a number of times through the years. This is confusing because the machines have a bingo card somewhere on the screen. I've heard the machines are just a different way to play a scratch ticket. So, which do we have, bingo slots or scratch-ticket slots? I really wish I knew. The employees at the casino's say they know nothing (which is probably true for most of the employee's). Also, I've never seen one of those "skill-based" gaming machines in this state, and I've been to lots of bars and casinos. Thanks for a very informative video.
WA tribal casinos have both tribal bingo machines and tribal video lottery terminals. These are tribal, and not related to the WA State Lottery. If you see a bingo card on a screen or in the help paytable section, that is a bingo based machine. Else it's a tribal video lottery machine (scratch ticket type).
@@anndelise9493 Sorry, but I have to disagree. I've gotten confirmation since I posted this that the non-bingo games ARE an extension of the WA state lottery. I emailed the lottery in Olympia and they confirmed this. Of course, just like the non-tribal scratch tickets, the state gets a cut of the proceeds to go for schools, roads, etc This was covered in a news story a few years back.
I have 2 questions for bingo slots and I’ve read through the comments and couldn’t find the answers. 1) Since I would be playing other players, would I only choose a higher denom just for a larger payback or is the $5 denom machine have higher percentage than $1 denom machine of picking the correct card? 2) stupid question (I’m new to casinos) but I press spin and get bingo card. Am I supposed to wait for a certain amount of time before pressing the spin button again, “game over” or something since we’re playing against each other? Wow, subscribed, very interesting info. I am in AZ and we had a casino open in Glendale that was class 2 at first. There were major issues with tribes blocking other tribes from opening a casino, huge issue. That was years ago though and the state just redid the compact and more casinos are being built now and sports book is now legal too. I play Keno (Game King slot machine) mostly multi or 4 card, sometimes Cleo. Can you do a video about Keno? I also own a Game King machine that I swear is tighter than the casino machines. LOL! It has a slot game on it that is a riot, Fortune Cookie, very un PC bonus too!

I have been playing class II games very late and gotten the "wating for players" message quite often. Once I got 2 really good hits in a row and the game quit responding all together. Apparently there were not enough players playing.

Where I got they have Class 2 game and Class 3 games. I don't like Class. But will consider trying it when it is not busy. My Tribal Casino is 20 minutes away but on the American side and I am from Canada so the borders are closed
On class two video's does the denomination you play matter? For example is it better to play a 5 dollar machine vs a penny machine at a 5.00 bet since its using a bingo card.. or do all 5.00 cards play together. Are we playing with all denominations of bing sots?
Is there any kind of law or reg that says if a tribe with multiple gaming facilities has to be all type 2 or type 3 or can they be set up however the tribe wants..i.e. utilizing both types on different properties. I just found your videos and have subscribed. I find them very informative and love your explanations. I do have a question though. I live in Oklahoma where we have class II and class III gaming. I see a lot of machines with bingo cards and a lot without bingo cards. My question is do the games without bingo cards fall under class III with a percentage of payouts? Or do they payout using a bingo card connected to the rest of the machines like a class II machine? Also is it more beneficial to play machines with bingo cards or is it better to play the machines without bingo cards? If the information you give is accurate then it seems like the best choice would be to play the machines with no bingo cards?? So my original question still applies. Do machines in a class 11 and class III casino connected to all the other machines making every machine a bingo machine or are they seperate with a percentage payout??? @@BeautyB2 The machine will show you an actual bingo card on the playing screen or on the control panel where you hit play. If it doesn’t mention anything about bingo, then it’s not a bingo machine because by law the machine has to show you.

I live in Alabama where the only options are class 2 or "horse betting" machines. We do not win on those horse machines and we always win at the bingo machine casinos.
New York State only have 4 regular casinos ( as far as I read), and three more licenses were approved for the NYC area early in 2022. The exact locations are still to be determined. All the racinos have Video Lottery Terminals that use the 'scratch off' system, and have an external server. Some tribal casinos have Class 3 and some have Class 2 Bingo style. With the Class 2, are there still strategies at selecting machines ( as suggested by your 7 part series), or is the player just at the mercy of the external server that predetermines the wins? Another question, are there different external servers for banks of specific machines?
Interesting info. Some of this is the same as what I have gathered from years of playing class II machines. Question - the VGT slots that we have here in Oklahoma give you a new bingo card each time you hit the spin/bet button. And you can not change the card. How does this factor in to the central server/bingo game? I figure it's just another way to make your odds even lower since the card changes on every spin. Also, the casinos here have class II and class III games. Does this make the casino a class II casino as far as the tax laws go or how does it affect them by having both types of machines? If a casino has both types of slots, class 2 and 3, then they are required to adhere to class 3 stricter regulations and follow state guidance and compacts.

Even though the Class 2 machines have a Central server, are the machines still programmed to give a certain payout percentage and if so, do the tips that relate to Class 3 machines where the base denomination determine payback percentage still apply? Also, suppose there are 50 Triple Double Diamond machines in a casino but are in banks of 10 ( so 5 banks), and the banks in different locations, is there just one central server for all 50, or is there a central server for each bank of machines?
How does the money work in a class 2 casino? I understand that most times it’s money paid, casino takes its cut and the bingo winner get the payout. Does an amount go toward a jackpot pool for big wins? Because I wonder how a jackpot can be paid if there is not enough player money to cover it.

How does bingo slot happen to give you the exact amt. of a progressive on that slot. Bingo games have nice even amounts in wins, slot wins are all different amounts. Here in Wisconsin ho chunk madison is Class 2 and Ho Chunk dells is class 3 madison is great pays out 95% highest in the state i dont know if its luck or payout but sucess rate at madison has been great
I noticed that a few machines I played for awhile seem to hit better if when u started on that same pattern. I learned which machines played on a certain pattern. Got 6 hand pays in 1 night. Then the casino moved all the machines around hahaha. I watch the patterns and how often they drop.
@@danym1585 Rachel on the bingo type slot machines. You’re playing patterns from the bingo cards. You’ll see like a Christmas tree, a pyramid and other different symbols when before u put in ur money. Each symbol is a different pattern. If the spin lands on that pattern it wins that $. I watch the machine how many times that pattern hits on that machine. However, this isn’t a fail proof thing. I always max bet on the best payout on a certain symbol. And do believe I’ve lost a lot playing this way as well.

The casino closest to me has a room that’s for 18+ and all the games are class 2. I was leaving around 1am and noticed they had added a bunch of new games so I put $5 in one. Was betting minimum 80 cents and hit a bonus, ended up with over 40 spins, cashed out at $93. There was only a few people playing on the other class 2 games. I went back on a Saturday night and almost all the machines were being played. I found one to try and I didn’t hit anything.. I guess I should only play those games when there isn’t as much competition.

How does a class 2 casino change the odds? Do they add more bingo numbers to lower the odds? If the machine picks the card and the central server picks the balls, the odds seem fixed in my mind. I guess they could have a number of phantom players that win to take the cake from real players.
More than likely, yes. Press the 'Help' or 'Paytable' button and if doesn't list anything about Bingo patterns, or doesn't show or mention anything about 'Lottery' you are likely playing a type 3 'Vegas' style slot.
Been going to the 3 casinos in Alabama for over 5 years. I thought I was crazy or imagining things, cause I always felt I would win waaaaay more frequently when I went to casinos in MS. With class 2 gaming what affect does the amount I bet, or frequency of my spins change my odds. Or should I just sit there and bet minimum amount only when I have to for the game to be live
I scrolled back a little looking for this question. So can class II casinos change what happens remotely? It seems like after I won big one night that it has come to a stop. So does the casino know me as me and change the odds on that? I know this seems paranoid , but it does seem like that is how it works.
Yes they can, but its not by the individual machine but rather a change on the server that distributes the numbers to the entire floor. The machines themselves rely solely on the bingo server to pay out

So question: some class 2 machines allow the reels to be quick stopped and some don't. If I just hit stop on every spin, does this mean I'll win more often because I'm daubing the bingo card faster?
In my experience, Indian casinos in FL are TERRIBLE...I never saw anyone win in multiple trips. WHY do they have to use bingo slots at these places, and why doesn't the state regulate them as far as fair payouts go?

So in Michigan the tribal casino we frequent is listed as having class 3 - so could they house both? I have noticed at one particular tribal casino down on the left it looks like a bingo card with dots getting filled in but then they have other games that don't have that so I am just trying to figure out our best play.

On class II games, the odds are adjusted remotely on the central server. Because there is never a time when people are not playing, they can adjust it at anytime.
At the tribal class 2 bingo machines do the denominations matter anymore? I know higher denomonation gets you higher payouts but what about the percentages of payouts. Is it still higher chance of hitting on higher deonomation machines?
