Recorder should zoom in more. 60% of the screen is filled with the audience background.

Hi I’m a senior in HS my first year wrestling so far I only have losses do you have any advice as to what I should do to get better? Could be anything, moves I should focus on, mindset, or anything. CONGRATULATIONS DUDE ❤

Get a few moves you like and perfect them, ultimately it’s all about consistency and hard work. There’s gonna be guys better then you who have been doing it for awhile. But if you stay after and commit to getting better and not worrying about wins and loses and constantly focus on your technique every single practice then you’ll get there. Reflect after practice, watch film after practice, and take those things you want to learn into practice. It’s a big sacrifice but if you really wanna be good, that’s what its going to take. I always ask myself what would a national champion be doing, and if I’m not doing it then I’m not gonna become one.

@@BradenSchuyler im saving this for sure, tysm. my goal is to try and get varsity at least once this season and the challenges happen every two weeks starting next week. any advice on how to close the gap? im definitely going to start reflecting on my practices more. thank you again.

Figure out what you have to work on the most and focus on that during practice and stay after with a coach,if you can. Really focus on that one position/ technique throughout the week. If you focus on one thing throughout the week you’ll see improvement and it’ll give you more motivation… then whatever happens during your matches win/lose figure out what you did wrong. Then just keep going back and focusing on those little things and always have something you need to work going into practice. Think of practice as an opportunity not a obligation.

@@BradenSchuyler amazing, right now I need to work on my stance and defense and also my aggressiveness, I’ll use practice to focus on that. Thank you very much!
