Hope this gave you some decoration inspiration! HomeGoods, Marshalls, and T.J Maxx are my favorite places to get affordable decorations.

A little too focused on her knick knacks..... i wanted the camera to pan around the apartment so we can see the layout! Show the kitchen, not whats in the cupboards, show the bedroom, ceiling height, show how big the space is and the layout as you walk from front entrance over to the windows

I love apartment tours. I have to say I usually don’t like them with a lot of detailed information, but your personality won me over. It was a joy to watch you describe your set up, and your apartment itself was so interesting! I loved everything, even though I’m a cozy minimalist. For me, the cozy part of being a minimalist means I love color, warmth and comfort in my minimalist environment. You are an adorably cute young lady with a fun personality. I love your hair (I’m a retired Black woman with natural hair also). I wish you much success in your RU-vid journey! Also, your dad seems like an amazingly fun and supportive father!

Thanks so much for this lovely comment! I know some detailed apartment tours aren't for everyone but I preferred mine to be a bit longer to give people an idea of where I shop for decor and hopefully give them some inspo for their living space. I absolutely love my Dad and he's 100% supportive of everything that I do. Once again, this was such a pleasure to read. Thank you!

Hi! The kitchen island is from Wayfair. I have it linked on the Pinterest board. I love it! I don’t recommend putting keys or sharper objects on it since it scuffs a little easy but I used a magic eraser to fix blemishes on it.

YES unplug appliances your not using GREAT idea. Move the coffee pot over to block the socket, along with the kettle, that should work. ❤ nice decor.

As long as you’re happy..we’re happy. Suggestions…please show the layout of the apartment and an overall view of your things…it’s the set up we are interested. Because you were focused on your trinkets it made the apartment seem small and clutter. Give us a big picture of who you are instead little piece when you’re doing a home tour. On a separate video give us details that include your pieces so we get to know your story.A lot of time multifunctional items or clear items make spaces look and feel bigger. You seem so sweet and I wish you all the best.

I appreciate it! I’ll comment here to address the main concern of showing the layout. I have floor to ceiling windows and I do not show landmarks or my view on purpose for safety reasons. Therefore, there will not be a video showing the layout of my apartment even with the shades being down. Instead, this was how I chose to conduct my studio apt tour by focusing on my decor and furniture pieces. Hope this was helpful and I appreciate your constructive feedback.

She needs to learn how to show her apt and modulate her voice. The dog’s ears are still bleeding! Get rid of the high, shrill baby’s voice and show it like you’re showing your apt and not your possessions.
