I was looking to buy the winning one but after i saw the hayabusa one and it was half price of winning and as you saying the are pretty much the same and the velcro is not the broblem cause i cut every velcro so i finish the gauze that left to make my grib bar above the palm and i dont like these type of knuckle guards i will maybe get the skulltec gel pads and the hayabusa wraps. Btw great review you just save me 15-20 bucks 😂🙏

I have both, the Winning knuckle guard is MUCH better. The Winning wraps are very light weight. I prefer wrapping my hands with the Hayabusa wraps because it is easier.

I think the best option is the winning knuckle guard with the Hayabusa gauze handwraps

I've been looking everywhere for info on this, but what's the rationale for using these "gauze" wraps over regular wraps? The only benefits I can think of is comfort (from the softer material) and that it takes less room in the glove, allowing for the knuckle protector, but it seems like it detracts from wrist support Also thanks for the tip for if the velcro is on the wrong side, that's a life saver

I think the main benefit is how slim it is so it doesn’t take too much space in your gloves, especially with the knuckle guard on. That and how soft it is, I think

Nice, I am curious how the Rival D3O knuckle guard compares, if you get it with the thin Mexican handwraps in 210. I have the winning kit and find it hard to keep the guard on the front of the knuckle and not have it slide to the back of the hand.

I haven’t tried the Rival one, one of my fighters have it. He’s not really into it though, I forgot why. I’ll ask him the next time I see him in the gym

@@ThatBoxingGuy Thanks, I appreciate it. I know the D3O padding in the gloves tends to be pretty hard.

Actually had to look them up, never really heard of them. I’ll consider trying them out once they’re available in Canada

Your need to use air quotes everytime you say "gauze"
