Main who you want. I main Isabelle in ultimate and she's hot garbage against allot of characters. But- I win with her so much because all those characters give me practise. Maining a "bad" or low tier character might actually be smarter than sticking with the meta- because then you get practise OFF those who play the meta

Do you have to play the characters in order? Would make it way easier if you played all characters that give you difficulty up front, so that by the time you have a run going, you are much more likely to actually finish it.

If you ever get stuck on link against falcon again, up special is really nice. It spikes hard at the tip, which makes it a powerful edge guard tool against falcon.
