A group of businesses on McPhillips Street are banding together and forming a group to deal with local crime in the neighbourhood. Mike Albanese has more.
where is the community crime prevention? where are the night patrols? The reality is Canada has many crises happening and our Government has no solutions, has no actions. Hire more police, hire more bylaw officers. Make community crime prevention a priority with citizens on patrol. If the government can not , or is un willing to protect those who are helping move Canada forward then what good are our elected officials? It is ok to spend money to take away our civil liberties but we have no money to protect the business that employ citizens and keeps people off the streets.
There needs to be a group of people to address what the root cause of problems like this is as well as advocacy groups to help people understand why the vandals are targeting businesses.
Police always complain about criminals but universally never fight against the politicians which often fund them and create legislation to criminalize being poor in the first place.
