A February, 2021, deep snow in the Midwest spawned another "Winter Birds' Feeding Frenzy," for me, my third. This time I positioned my camera a little closer and also captured the beautiful falling snow! Once again the Northern Cardinals steal the show with their flaming red rocking against the white snow backdrop. The many goldfinches and house finches provide most of the frenzy and chatter, with cameos by the red-bellied, downey and hairy woodpeckers. After I quit filming the blue jays came in, so I captured the last two minutes of action through my patio door to get the delightful interplay of blue jays, cardinals and European starlings. (Although I sadly lost the clarity and sound of the outdoor close encounter.) Blessings, as you enjoy God's beautiful Creation!
