That a sweet couple! I'm Max i'm from Russia, our politics alway told us that Western peoples are angry capitalists who stole our money. But i see happy peoples who look like me, enjoy nature like me, and even have same gear. Why we need tv, magazines and all this problems if we just can enjoy nature, enjoy our family and share it each other, without toxic propaganda
Max, many of us here in the USA, more than half or 3/4 or even more like the Russian people, it's the government's of the world that want us to hate the enemies they have made so we can protect the a..holes, they call this a moral duty lol, in truth it's the plain people who suffer. And especially the soldiers! Anyway. I like Russian Bear tents , they are awesome, also like the Sputnik stove , awesome. Harder to get now days, go figure lol . And the overland vehicles, bad ass trucks ! Well so long sorry for rambling on.
I am so happy to see you too For a minute there I didn't think I will see you too again welcome back and the campaign looks great and thank you again for this video I need more of them❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊
It’s such a fantastic shelter that you have and it’s great seeing how happy its makes the two of you. Thank you Mike and Sandra for sharing this overnighter with everyone, I really enjoyed it. Best wishes to you both
Hello hello,, that is alot of snow,, we are still kinda cool here,, i say cool,, not cold in 50s and 60s.. love the campfire and bbq!! good food yum!! Thank you both for sharing,, it looks like fun.
I'm a LATE viewer: the new cameras are fine in comparison to earlier videos. The support structure you built for this tent was wonderful. The low rock wall was really fine for cold weather.
Shenanigans at the Stone Hut. 😃 Good to see y’all out and about. Those burgers looked delicious 😋. I was praying for ya Mike as you flew through the woods !!! 😳. Lol I’m glad no trees jumped out at you !!! 👍. Can’t wait to see the projects y’all get into this spring. Soon it will be time to hit the water and do some fishing 👍😃. See y’all on the next one. ✌️
That is a lot of snow!! Like the big campfire...you should build some log benches around it with some of that wood you cut down. See ya on the next one!!
Hola amigos asia tiempo no veía un vídeo de ustedes me gustan mucho verlos como pareja asiendo esas actividades cuidense mucho y espero ver más videos de ustedes saludos desde mílwaukee Wisconsin
Hi Mike and Sandra. Thank you both for taking time out of your already busy lives to go out and make these videos. The video quality is wonderful and the music you choose is always warm and perfect for the setting. Dinner looked delicious and Mike I laughed at both of your stupid missions (especially the 2nd one). I hope the snow is not over yet. Always looking forward to your next video. Say hello to Simon and all your great friends. Keep safe! Sending warm hugs from Florida.❤❤
Wow Welcome back you two friends? Its ALWAYS a joy to see you both in a new video!! To see that snow reminds me of Back home in Indiana! And that is one of many many reason why I'm in Manila, Philippines!! distance from new Brunswick Canada to Manila, Philippines is 13165 km Or 8180.35 miles >>>> Your temp right now is ( 9°C°F OR 49dgs temp in Manila is 29°C°F Or 84dgs and i love it lol lol
Hi guys a long time viewer and fan of your videos. I am a bushcrafter in the UK and a such we don't have to be concerned about heavy snowfall to the degree you do. I have asuggesdtion that may help cut sown on the workload when it comes to removing all the snowfall from your shelter. If you lay some boughs across the canvas then the snow will land on the boughs and when you come to clear the snow all you need to do is grab the boughs at the bottom and pull them away taking the snow with them. Just a thought...what do you think 🤔
Worried about the two of you. Hope everything is ok. So much bad stuff happening down your way, hope all your shelters haven’t been affected by the fires. I’ll keep looking for your next post. Pretty busy I’m sure ❤
One last thing , our best mayor was/// get ready,,, drum roll,,, Gulliani( sp? He really was! Zero crime, then he became a certain presedent( sp. lawyer! He seemed to go crazy WELL !!’
I always set up the tent and then thow a tarp over it. That way there's never any problem with ice or snow on the tent. But some people like to do it the hard way.
Hi Guys!!! Best damn camping site on You Tube!! Just love your videos! This tent shelter is beyond great! Big hugs from Perth Ontario!! Are you going to do more motorcycle camping this year? What a great idea!
Mike before you slide down a hill like that again, let me get an insurance policy on you ok 😂😂😂😂 hi Sandra...Sandra don't let him do that again lol😂😂😂😂
I just love to see you guys. You make your videos enjoyable to see. It makes my day, of course you made me laugh. God bless y'all and may God keep you safe and protect you on your trip. I do have one question? Do you save extra Kindle?
Thank you very much Maria, Glad you enjoyed the video. I do try to keep some kindling at camp so there is always some ready when we need it. Though we do have access to quite a bit close by with all the spruce trees in the area.
I don't know where you are located but if you are in a location native to poisonous snakes, your tent base stone wall could be ideal habitat for them, timber rattlesnakes and copperheads. If it draws mice and voles, it could draw snakes.
Hi, Kenny from NYC, loved the two of you , the guy was Jerry Lewis in the snow, I’m jealous of you ! It looked like a circus tent inside in a wonderful way. Hey you just leave the tent there with your stove??? Could not some crazy people just go in it. Sleep and when they decide to leave just take it all!! I guess I’ve lived here too long, we have a new mayor, he is black and loves to hang out with JZ and Beyoncé, I live now by the Barklays Centre . Jay Z. Started that. They have created a new city. I’m not kidding , I have always live in the village in Manhattan! I have now been here almost five years , but only ten minutes from Manhattan on the subway or train same thing. All my life I wanted to do this. Guess how far I got?? Front yard with my mom looking out the window all. Night! I grew up in the Ohio valley and inside the Ohio valley is the Egypt valley / haunted,,, look it up! I know all the places. Aliza Jane fox is part of this story / my grandmother gave me her Teddy Bear. Anyway , at age four I was on stage still am, that’s why you made my day! Thank You both. Peace 😊
Hi Glennene, it is a family property. Was left mostly untouched for over 60 years until we started spending time there. I can't tell you how happy my father was that the property was being enjoyed again. We really only use dead standing trees for the most part, so our impact on the forest is very minimal. We are quite conscious of our activities in the woods and want to make sure that we protect it as much as we can while still enjoying being part of it.
Everytime I watch your channel ,their is always snow on the ground. Do you get snow year round. I would be freezing if I was there. I am so cold natured . My feet stay cold year round and that's because of poor circulation.Boysandra shoveled up big chunk of snow. your burgers look so good. Made me want one but I had already had a salad . Thanks for sharing your video. I enjoyed it very much.
Have always wondered if using tents in very cold and snowy environment mas wise.. Spent a week on the DMZ between North and South Korea in a "hard back" tent, but we had no snow during that time. Tent did have a liner and concrete floor with a heating system using diesel fuel in a stove feed by a 5 gal metal can that was attached to the stove. In fact I have spent MANY a cold snowy night in a tent in Korea. Of the 10 years I was in Korea during the winter time 3 years consisted of living in a brick house with NO insulation that had a boiler system that provided heat. All this time in Korea I NEVER felt warm no matter the living condition. However, the last tour in Korea I lived in a brand new 3 bedroom 2 bath house constructed on a slab of concrete with bottled LP gas that provided heat, hot water and ran the dryer. Leave in the morning for work, turn of heat and come home after work, turn heat and within no more than 10 the entire house was very warm. This was the FIRST time I ever felt warm in Korea. Have a question: Why do almost all winter campers do not stage firewood and kindling neatly stacked up inside their dwelling if there is sufficient room? Do you like to go out late at night and retrieve wood from "wherever in the cold? Sorry, i just can't wrap this around my head. This also applies to campers that wait until the last minute to start a fire from which they must go locate dead wood, saw it, split it and then haul in back to the campsite and of course it is very cold by then.
Greetings from Scotland! When I was young and did some wild camping, we used dead gorse as kindling where there were no silver birches- very effective. Don’t know if you have that in Canada?
😄 Sorry Carol.... We should be heading out in the next little while. I hope to have a new vid out in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Sorry for the long delay. We'll do our best to make it up to you!
Didn't finish the last comment --- clumsy fingers! ---- if clay were available using g it as mortar would have been perfect. I used live in an old farmhouse in New jersey that originally had the kitchen in the basement which was partially dug into the hillside (
Ive had the same chair since they came out in 2012 or so....awesome chàir you can always leave in the truck it packs so small Golf balls with an X cut in will help, with snow and sand
How do you avoid predators such as wolves in the winter and man eating bears (which i think hibernate in the winter?), then what about summer / how do you avoid them then?
Hi RSR. The bears do hibernate through winter. We do take safety precautions outside of winter. We don't have wolves in our area but wildlife for the most part tend to keep their distance from humans. We do have some fair sized coyotes and bears but we do hang our food. Most animals, even bears, tend to stay away from people. Always best to take precautions. We also keep bear spray with us just in case.
Hi Panda! I so sorry for the lack of videos. We will be postings videos soon. Just been so busy with work and everything else🙂 . We do have a video that I'm going to try to release before the end of the week thought it may be pushed a couple of weeks if I don't finish it in time. We have a pretty big trip planned soon. Going to be nice to be on vacation and we plan on filming the trip. Hope you join us for it. Sandra and I will be traveling and camping out for 7 days!! Sorry it's been a while since the last video. Hopefully we can make up for it in a few weeks!🙋♂️🙋♀️ ⛺
It is!! These two are fun. No glamour, no BS, no buy this or buy that, just some regular folk having fun building stuff and learning along the way. My favorite videos are the ones in the snow ;-)
