A tip I saw the other day was with the dead man just wrap the cord around and bring both ends out to two loops with a carabeaner then tie to that. That way when your done after a few days and it's all packed down and frozen that rope will pull straight out like a knife though butter instead of digging the stick out. 👍🏻 Had my first night in my 8 man last weekend. Loved it. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks SO.

Great info....I like the logs under the stove. I have the SO snow plate/ shelf and was worried about it melting the snow and turning it to ice. Keep the winter tips coming!

Great video. I've used a thin light piece of plywood/laminate as a stove support when snow camping. It has provided a stable, and insulated/insulating(?) base. I'm planning to try using some fiberglass cloth over a bed/base of sticks in the future.

Great video. Wish my hands and feet could handle cold conditions like this. Having Raynaud's it would be a struggle.

I've heard some peoples raynauds symptoms go away when eating a high fat carnivore diet. Perhaps this could help you.
