Winter Carp Fishing VLOG on the Parker Baits Lake! With Ben Parker

In this weeks winter carp fishing vlog I run through some behind the scenes to the Parker Baits factory, the processes we take to make some of our products and the on-site lake we use to do a lot of our product testing.
I managed to catch 4 carp in the small amount of time I had allocated for this session. We have a serious problem with a visiting heron damaging our stock.
Any ideas on deterring this carp killer?

I’ve a small 3 acre lake at the bottom our road with mainly small carp and a few 20s also. Best thing to keep the heron at bay is to fence off or put plenty of fishing line in the margins to deter the heron. They only poach or damage fish if they can wade into the water. I have a koi pond at home and it’s raised out of the ground by 3ft and another 3ft down so no chance for the bloody herons

Another banging video mate. Consistently putting out banging videos. Happy new year and hopefully it’s a good one for your bait firm. This may be a long shot but what squid and octopus liquid do you use I’ve been using one for my hook baits but not happy with it at the moment.

None of the heron deterrents work regardless of price! However they do not like things that move in the wind like hanging bunting or cds etc if that's a possibility? Other than that it's a jack Russel or a rifle!
