I love your winter tree...it's beautiful! I don't have a winter tree but my house is decorated in blues and white for the cold weather. I love the way you decorated your piano. It's always one of my favorite spots in your house. I think all of the deer are just precious!❄
Personally, I’m still taking down Christmas. I hope to have it all down by this week. I never really decorated for winter. But years ago and I still have them. I just haven’t used them. I had a beautiful white tablecloth with snowflakes on it and then I use that in my dining room, and in my kitchen I have the four placemats that I would put out, but like I said, I haven’t done that in a long time. That’s probably because it takes me so long to get my Christmas down. But I’m the one who wants to decorate so much. So once I get my Christmas down, I will start putting my Valentine decorations out. Of course that’s only one tub of those compared to. I don’t even want to count how much Christmas I have. Ha ha. Your home looks cozy and warm. I love your deer with the trees. We’ve had some crazy weather this month. We finally had our snow hit last week. We got 9 inches. I’m in Nevada and we get snow but on a normal basis it’s anywhere from one to 3 inches at a time. Now last year 2023 we got hammered with snow. We hadn’t seen something like that in years. so the 9 inches that we got that I think was our second snowfall the first one was like around 3 inches. We’re supposed to have another storm come in this weekend, but you never know sometimes they dissipate before they get over the hill to us. Our temperatures Are about average mid 40s to mid 50s. Last week when we had the snow ours were in the teens. Now we are in the 20s and 30s for our lows. As a matter of fact, we had a 22 hour power outage in our area about 3000 homes were out of power. The winds were horrific. Luckily my dad has a wood-burning stove. Thank God I live next-door to him for many reasons. We had gone out to my brothers for dinner came home and they had said it’d be on by 8:15, one of the many times they had given us through the day and previous night, and then I got a notice that it was going to be 1130 so I was getting my stuff together to walk over and spend the night. So my little dog was over there already, and just as I was walking out the door, I hear a little bleep and I thought oh and sure enough the lights came on, so we were grateful for that.
Oh I can definitely relate to that! That’s part of the reason I start decorating for Christmas in October! It’s a big task, but so worth it!!!! I am thankful to have a wood stove most definitely! We never lost power during this storm, but I’m shocked we didn’t! Our temps were in the negatives and with the wind chill around -20 at night! Thankfully we will be back in the 30s tomorrow! Stay warm and don’t rush yourself too hard on putting Christmas away, you will get it done ❤️ Big hugs!
Hey girl, life is kicking my butt right now. LOL.... Hoping to be more present on RU-vid soon both with my own videos and watching my friends videos! Big hugs!
Oh T it all looks nice and cozy. I have to admit I still have all my decorations and tree up yet. My hubby and I enjoy it so much so we keep it up through January. Continue you those dates with hubby. We need time for ourselves! Stay safe and healthy and God Bless you and family
Hi friend! I don’t blame you one bit! I love love love Christmas decor the most!!!! Oh I agree, I think date nights are so important! Stay warm dear ❤️
Wow your view is so beautiful. Everything looks so pretty in your house. The piano is my favorite. I’m decorated for winter but since we have been stuck in the house I pulled out my valentines decor out and added in a little. I’m in Springdale. The snow is so pretty with the sun shining on it
No way!!!!! You have no idea how excited I was to read you are in Springdale! I’m not far from you at all! So fun ❤️ I did the same and pulled out my Valentines decor also while stuck in the house! Tomorrow should be in the 30s so that’s exciting! Much warmer! Lol
Good to see you T! You look gorgeous. You have the prettiest skin. You did a good job with your winter decor. The snow is beautiful. We haven’t had any snow for a couple years in the part of NC where we live. We’re supposed to have cold weather this coming week. In the teens and twenties. I AM SO READY FOR SPRING!!!
Hey T! Great to see you again! Hope all is well. Concerned to hear that maybe you’re struggling or something is going on. You always have such a cheerful personality and the brightest smile! 😊💕 I decorate in January with snowmen and snowflakes, whites, light blues, and lights. Definitely helps those dreary winter days. ❄️ ☃️ ❄️ Stay warm from Idaho! We just got 14.5” here in the Treasure Valley (which is a high mountain desert). Haven’t seen this much snow since 2017. Lots of love from across the miles to you, Friend. ❤
Hi Nikki! Things have definitely not be easy lately, but this too shall pass and I know that! I am hanging in there :) Hoping to have another video out this week! We didn't get as much snow as you did!!! We got about 5 inches! haha.... It was very pretty though! Then we got ice a few days after and that wasn't as exciting. Stay warm and safe! Lots of love right back to you and thank you for your sweet comment!!!
Hey T! So happy to see your video!! I absolutely love that view overlooking the lake, the snow is absolutely gorgeous! You made your home cozy and beautiful! Love it. Happy New Year!
Hi Jen! I have sure missed RU-vid and my friends on here! There are a few of you that I know I would hang out with regularly if we lived closer! Happy New Year ❤️❤️❤️
T, what a gorgeous snow view!😮 I had not heard about the movie, I want to check it out. I know you are thawed out now! The family room definitely has a I’m snowed in and staying warm feel to it. Love the white snowy accents, fluffy pillows and baskets. See you sokn❤❤❤
Thank you so much! RU-vid marked your comment as spam because of the gorgeous part! hahaha.... It made me approve it :) At least I know RU-vid is looking out for me! LOL
I’m in Oklahoma and we are under that same state of emergency here. We got some snow and it’s dangerously cold so I’m staying inside. I lost electricity last night for 1 1/2 hours. The temperature dropped so quickly in my house. By the time the electricity came on I was freezing. It took 3 hours for my house to warm up to 68*.
Hi T! It's great to see you! Now I'm really debating about taking down my tree in the living room till February. I do love the lights! Plus, my Missy kitty is still enjoying sleeping under it.❤ You did a beautiful job on the top of your piano ❤ 😊 Happy New Year!
I love your pinecone-based displays. I have a Winter look, tree up, as well, and some Winter-related decor. Yours look very lovely, warm and cozy. (I live in New England. We've had a mixture of wintery weather, too.) I have actually taken out my Valentine's Day ❤ decor. I will soon be decorating with my items, and keep up my Winter ones as well. I don't care if I am an early bird. 😂🙃 BTW, I totally agree with your priorities, Dear T. 🏡🙏🏻❄️☃️🤍💙🤍
Love the cozy feel in your home! I agree with keeping some of the lights in January…helps me with the winter blues. God bless you and your family in 2024!
T.... I have been looking for exactly what your TV stand is! Since our move to a new place, I no longer have a fireplace. So, I have been looking for one in a TV stand with open shelves, but in white. Started watching this video and realized that your stand is what I had in mind. Everything i find has shelves with doors. 😀
