It's January and time to definitely take it out on the GO for Winter Field Day!
I've been fortunate to be invited to participate with the Suffolk County Radio Club at the W2DQ Site. It is the oldest club in the ARRL NLI (New York City/ Long Island Section).
With that said we will head to the site , get a tour and then activate for Winter Field Day!.
So join us for a fun weekend in January, outdoors in the Northeast, what could be better? Brrrrr
Last year I was in Tampa for Winter Field Day in WCF section of the ARRL so if cold is not your thing you can check out that video!

Nice video. Came here from the channel of 9N1CA after I had a QSO with him like you! Hope to work you on air some day. I do monitor 9N1CA on 20 m around UTC 12.30 pm as he comes here well in my region. 73 de Jon, VU2JO

I use the eagle One antenna and am using the LDG 9:1 Unun and SWR is great on my Yaesu FT-892. 73 K4BWN

We did WFD in South Dakota. Just wondering…if you were in the RV wouldn’t you have been 4-Mobile? Perhaps I missed it and you were calling CQ from outdoors. Anyway thanks, always nice to see how others set up and operate.
