I just turned 80 and have been painting since retired in 2002, I would have been luckier had i seen found your teaching earlier. Such a detailed and precise step by step painting skill certainly helps a great number of student painters.

You are by far the best teacher on you tube. I miss these long videos. I learn so much from you that my family is shocked at how good I’m getting. They tell me I have talent which is shocking since I can barely do a stick figure. I’m a good copier!

You Are So Talented and Patient . You Have Helped Me in so Many Ways...I'm Not a "Painter" I Draw then fill in with paint but you have taught me how to blend colors I've learned what certain brushes do I love the Mop Brush makes blending so easy. I’ve seen Bob Ross paintings that take 20 to 35 minutes to complete but watching 2 to 3 hours of your paintings I’m actually entertained and shocked at how much detail you put into these paintings 👌🏽👏🏾 I could watch this all day if I want to. nice work

Beautiful, BEAUTIFUL!!! Sheer perfection! I'm watching your tutorial now now and have saved the video to my list of top favorites. This is one of the best - maybe the even the best- snowy forest tutorials I've come across. Wintry forests are one of my favorite places to see and/or walk through in real life and this painting is so exquisite I want to jump right in and hike through it. I grew up and lived most of my life in the foothills and valleys of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia and North Carolina but have resided in the west of Ireland for the last 15 years. Needless to say, I don't get to see much snow here but get to experience it when I visit my daughters who still live in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Thank you for taking time to post this magnificent piece of work. I've been painting only a year and a half but became almost addicted to it from the start. The more I watch this video the more I'm deciding it's going to be my next project. Yours is a true talent.

Thank you for a fantasmagorical tutorial. It was the first time I saw the technique you use. I'm jumping between acrylics, pouring, watercolours and multimedia, but after seeing this, I think it's time to go back to acrylics again!

This is the first time I watched your tutorials and just realized I was missing the water. It's going to be so much easier now! I was using acrylic paint and painting Bob Ross style.

Really, that's interesting 🤔 I had been watching Bob Ross for awhile and feel inspired to try painting _But did not want to use oils_ I wondered how the same technique might be applied using acrylics. I didn't think it could as acrylics dry out quickly and you need that wet coat of magic white to move the paint around for those lovely blending affects _Do you put on a quick coat of gesso, or watered down white, then work quickly on top before it dries?_ You should check out Michelle the Painter here on RU-vid _She has some very cool blending techniques that simulate the same effects as Bob Ross_ I hope it's as easy as it looks I am not organised to start painting, yet 😊
