PDM Haltane & Carlisle are my winter go-to fragrances but I recently bought Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Azraq and the cold weather really activates the sweet honey, oud, amber, and patchouli. Absolutely love it.

Awesome fragrances. Mancera Tonka Cola is nice, but I would prefer Red Tobacco. I tried both once, and I received direct compliments for RT, it is also much stronger. Regarding PdM, I must confirm, Carlisle is the best. Herod is definitely a runner up, but Carlisle is king.

I would not say either naxos or layton or tonka cola are winter fragrances, they work great all year round. But its fantastic list overall

Like the list on my skin the Interlude black iris projects so strong I have to do one spray on the chest. I put two on my neck once and got some negative feedback, watch out for that one because people used to smelling blue fragrances can be offended by it.

Tonka Cola dry down is so freaking good, and the longevity is insane. 😅. In my skin, it can hold up to 14 hrs.

I legit sprayed only 5 sprays of Prada L'homme intense (2023 batch) I got compliments but was told I sprayed a little too much. I sprayed myself 1 hour before I left my house. I got solid 10+ hours performance from it

Hafez was to spicy for me at first. I let it sit for a while and went with Red Tobacco. After about a year of sitting, it is better now the spice isn't so strong anymore. I like it more than Red Tobacco now.

I bought and used Prada L'homme Intense earlier in the year and it came off really weak on my skin and I haven't used it since. I need to give it another try in the colder weather as I have found some fragrances really come off weak on my skin in the summer.

Please add Tom Ford Tobacco Oud, Tobacco Vanille, Noir Extreme, Nishane Ani and Creed Royal Oud to the list please. They are 10 out 10 in most people's opinions, myself included. And Prada L'Homme Intense is one of my best smells ever! Thank you Dr Omar! Jazakallahu khairan.

Do you have Deloox in uk? They have Prada l'homme Intense 150ml for 114,81 gbp or 79,20 gbp for 100ml. Notino also have it for slightly higher price. Is there some way you can shop there?

I own a 100ml of Naxos and I am constantly trying to find excuses to wear it, the combination of smoothness, sweetness and surprising freshness is addictive. Bought a 5ml of Carlisle and it is a bit challenging, especially in the opening, but beginning to appreciate it more, and I also have a decant of Interlude Black Iris on the way. Speaking of Amouage, have you tried Royal Tobacco? I bought a bottle after getting the Library sampler, it’s my go to for special occasions, smells like pure class to me.

Herod is better than Carlisle and Layton Exclusif. I used to think Carlisle is the best from PDM, but time after time, after I have smelt all different fragrances and realized how well blended Herod is. Plus when it comes to picking the best, wearability and appeal to the masses play a big role in my opinion. Herod edges both Layton Exclusif and Carlisle at that point. They both are great as you said but sometimes could be too intense and cloying. Most people everyday we are around are not fragheads

I thought the same when I first opened Herod. I did 10 sprays all over my body and it lasted only three to four hours. I was very disappointed and I almost sold it before Herod becomes my favorite scent of all time. Now I only need 6 sprays and it lasts over 8 hours with decent projection. Spray twice on the exact same spot. Y’all will never complain about Herod’s performance again. Never.

In my opinion, a pure 10/10 for winter is Must Ravageur Frederic Malle EDP. Classic French perfumery in its finest. In my opinion, a panty dropper, sensual perfume is Noir de Noir EDP by TF. It smells really sex-appealing to me personally. I will own both in future for sure as my reserved life perfumes, this is a goal.😂

DHP is more ‘serious’ with practically no sweetness, while Prada is more on the ‘playful elegant’ sweeter side. Hope this helps!
