Today is all about finishing things up on my gardening todo list for December: I want to set up bird feeders, cut back dahlias, mulch, lift begonias, clean up leaves (again)... There is still a lot to do before winter sets-in (and time to get these last spring bulbs in) !! Lovely video. Nice to see others still planting bulbs in December too. My daffodils are also up which is very early for the Pacific Northwest. Merry Christmas!

I so enjoy your videos ! They are both practical and lovely . You are fortunate to live where you have a long growing season . We had our first frost early September. I dug up my dahlia tubers once the frost got them , and stored them in the garage in a crate . When I checked them, they were soft . I’m scared I’ve lost them ?

How lovely those bird feeders are! I love providing for the birds. Unfortunately the birdfood also attracted rats and mice to my garden so I had to put everything away, it was becoming a real problem. Happy Holidays to you!! 🎄🕯️

Do NOT CUT BACK YOUR FLOWERS!!! The birds eat any seeds the flowers made. It's better than making them totally dependent on us! I do put out feeders and suet too.
