Winter is a big inspiration for me. I love her. I hope to meet that beautiful dolphin. She helps me to get through hard times no matter what. Heck, she lost her TAIL and she's still alive.

When I went to CMA, I felt Winter's Gel and I put it on my arm to see what it felt like. It felt really comfortable and I was surprised because I've heard that some prosthetics are uncomfortable but I really liked the feel of Winter's Gel. It felt like sticky rubber and the tail itself felt sort of like a tire.

Wikked Lilone yes she does. She doesn’t wear it all the time though. It’s only used for physical therapy purposes so she only wears it a couple times a day for short periods of time. She can’t wear it all the time because dolphins shed their skin approximately every two hours, so if that were to happen while the tail was still on it could really irritate her skin. Also, if she had her tail on all the time it would be like a person spending all day every day working out at the gym with no relaxation time. :)

rutusshik No one is being mean! The only animals that remain at Clearwater Marine Aquarium, like winter and hope, have physical disabilities or injuries that prevent them from being released back into the wild.
