Winter Hammock Camping Setup

I paired this system with a -18°C Teton Leef sleeping bag with a fleece liner. The ambient temperature was -5°C at its nightly low so I stayed warm and cozy in my hammock. The sleeping pad accumulated a fair amount of condensation but nothing too uncomfortable. This was an overnight trip but unfortunately I lost a lot of footage due to technical difficulties, so I made the best of what footage remained!

Placing a ridge line on your hammock will to wonders for you setup

They will be great in the summer when I don't need the carry around the under-quilt a super heavy sleeping bag.

I haven't been hammock camping in a while. Ever since I tried tarp camping and found it wonderful. You're pretty damn good at setting up a hammock. Usually takes me five or six tries to get the hang just right. And I've never tried with a sleeping pad. Does that affect your lay at all?

Thanks! And it does affect the lay a bit. I found myself readjust frequently throughout the night.
