I don’t wanna be that person but satin isn’t bound to one fibre. You can have a silk satin, polyester or nylon satin, wool sateen, cotton sateen and so on. It’s the name of the weaving style. So whenever someone tells you something along the line of: “It’s very luxurious! It’s satin.” Please ask them what type of fibre it’s made of. Same goes for velvet, organza, chiffon, all types of knit, taffeta just to name a few 💜

So much for the skims biannual! Out of the 10 items in my cart, naturally only one was on sale. So that was a pricey little excursion… I really don’t care for boat necks but I do love black and dark blue velvet. I think the cut is off, as evidenced by the gaping armholes

So fed up with the Lily Silk hype and have been for years. Their presence on You Tube has the opposite effect on me. I simply don’t buy. They use the Mulberry Silk for all it’s worth. The truth is that Mulburry Silk comes in different grades of quality and I can’t imagine Lily Silk being up there among the best for those prices. Good quality costs more. The same goes for Cashmere.
