Korean men go to the army. I went to the army in 1994. I work as a guard all night. It's over minus 20 degrees every day. During the cold season training, I dig into the ground and sleep. It's real It's a thing for Korean men.
During the November Elk season a few years back, basically between Walden and Steamboat Springs, it dropped to around minus 20-25 degrees F. That's probably the coldest I have stayed in, for an extended time. We were staying in a outfitters tent. We knew to expect it since they had been reporting a weather change, and prepared the best we could. Wood, water. Coffee!!!! That tent got chilly, even with the wood stove. Myself and two buddies. We were all in our late 60's at the time, deciding we were "too old for this ****!" and swore at that time that we were through with the November season, and would opt to hunt in the October season. Long about early spring, we started meeting and discussing hunting again. One of my buddies said, "hey, I know a great spot to go in November"!! "Heck yeah!!!!" We were once again lovin' life in that wall tent in the November Elk season, complaining every breath. 😂 Merry Christmas to you and yours. I hope 2023 brings you health, happy-ness, and long peaceful trails to explore. Edit: I wanted to add that I really enjoy your letting the camera tell your story, instead of, well, not to be rude, but having to listen to you yammering on. I have dropped the subscription to several channels of this type because they want shut up!!! I am smart enough to know they're starting a fire, I don't have to be told. 😁 Keep on doing exactly what you're doing my friend. It's fantastic work. Roger

I could watch this type of videos for hours. No noise, no speaking, just doing what's needed. Very impressed with the whole set up and time management!
Ive been going through a very mentally tough period in my life and watching these kinds of videos, by this channel and others, have an incredibly calming effect on my spirit and mind. Thank you my friend, your helping people in ways you probably never realized.
Hope you don't take this the wrong way 😅 but I love that you don't talk in your videos. Watching you do your thing in silence is kind of relaxing! Happy holidays!
I am number B. the messenger. do not kill the messenger, if you hate the message. why do you hate the message? brainwashed & programmed? or have you been told to hate the message? i hate satanist doG with big g. i hate satanist dogs with small g. i hate satanist doG = i hate satanist God. i hate satanist dogs = i hate satanist gods(people who want to be a god). who was the original satanist (j c)? those rich satanist assholes who run this world, have brainwashed & programmed every man & woman from a young age. satanist prayer is for us to forgive those satanist assholes but our prayer is for us to punish those satanist assholes. why? for all the pain they have given us. i have too tell people about God & how people have been brainwashed in believing about their satanist doG = God. forgive= NO.. punish= YES. history = his story = rich satanist can write their own history.
I think he struggles to think and/or explain anything he’s doing, mostly just copied from others so his input wouldn’t really matter in the first place
Great work with the entire adventure. All that work to set up the tent, cut the tree down, then cut it into smaller pieces, set up the wood oven, etc. and you leave the next day.....hell no. I would stay at least a couple of days.....lol
I am a South Korean subscriber. I am enjoying watching your video. I saw you camping at minus 24 degrees in the video. The video reminds me of when I was a soldier and I was camping outdoors at minus 27 degrees Celsius. There was no stove, and I slept on two hot packs in a cotton sleeping bag. It was so cold and hard at that time. However, watching this video reminds me of the happy memories of the hard times. I saw you cooking Korean ramen. I felt sorry for the process of cooking. So I will tell you how to make ramen more deliciously. First, wait for the water to boil (the noodles are not chewy in cold water). Second, add noodles and seasonings when the water boils. Third. If you boil it for too long, the noodles will be overcooked and not tasty. So put the noodles in boiling water and boil it for 3 minutes and 30 seconds.(Even if it's a little undercooked, it'll be cooked after one or two bites.) Fourth, put peppers and green onions right before you eat them. Additionally, it will taste better if you put eggs in spicy ramen. I hope you eat more delicious ramen next time. I always enjoy watching your videos, so I hope you have a safe and enjoyable camping. Then bye!
I would love to see a video of you teaching how you plan for a trip. Choosing location, navigating your hike, choosing trails, where to park, where to find the laws and rules for areas, what equipment you decide to pack, etc.. I have never solo camped before, never hot tented, and honestly want to try this adventure/challenge. I don't have many items on my bucket list, but THIS is one of them. Truly.
I can't believe there is such a beautiful place, the scenery is so romantic I love this scene. Whoever is reading this comment, I wish you success, health
I've never been camping, but for the past year I watch these kind of videos, and I really enjoy them because it teaches survivor skills and how we shouldn't take nature for granted. I liked the Pimply stove it really warmed the tent making for a comfortable environment. Keep the videos coming.

I set up a subscription notification. I admire your technology that creates your own comfort and safe space in the extreme cold and you are peace.

I share your passion. Sometimes I go on long trips. Two, three weeks in the wild, alone, it always renews and gives many new impressions. It's always a good vacation. It's always nice to see the beauty of wildlife. I'm close to what you're doing. Merry Christmas!
