Lived in Myrtle Beach for ten years. I saw snow two times. Once was a dusting the other was about 3 inches. The best month for the locals is December, the crowds are gone and businesses give coupons and specials. And the weather is great. I moved back north because of family but I miss it every day. The people were great and I still keep in touch with many friends and neighbors.

I closed on my condo in January 2022, physically moved in February. It snowed my first night.

Last September we were there and asked some of the businesses about the winter time and the ones we asked said places close in November through February around the boardwalk area.

The boardwalk is the most tourist-focused part of myrtle beach, naturally the few places that close down will be concentrated mostly in that area. I was just there yesterday though and a lot of stuff was opened!

Honestly I don’t go to myrtle beach much no more . There’s a lot of gangs and drugs it use to be a family place now it’s over run by drugs . For the life of me I will never understand why any one would Choose drugs over a regular life

Virginia Beach averages 6 inches of snow a year.Myrtle Beach averages around an inch a year with most years, no snow.

We don't even average that much. We get snow once every few years and it's never a lot!

Myrtle Beach my home town. Myrtle Beach is a Cool ass town especially in the summer. Good outside workout environment. People be minding their own damn business. This it's not boring as f***.
