No stress, no hunger for money , no hunger for power, no unwanted desires , just living and surviving with family happily. Might be hard for a person living a city life but my friends , this is life!.

I actually missed filming a lot of events during my 3 month winter stay. For instance, the villagers do sometimes use hot water to wash their clothes. They go down to the spring as a group, light a fire to heat water in a huge cauldron and wash their clothes with the warm water. It would have been very interesting to capture that. But alas! I will save all these things for a more extensive documentary. Perhaps in a year or two.

The singing tradition of men n women r quite common all over the Himalayas frm ladakh to lahual spiti to kinnaure or any other parts of Himalayas be it India,nepal,tibet or bhutan.... It's just like the mighty Himalayas ll probably feel sad or bored if these wonderful people stop singing.... I just love my Himalayan culture 💖👌😎

I can relate to their life ....because I'm from kinnaur. For living in places like kinnaur/spiti you have to be very hard working because life is hard especially in winter season.Beside that most of the people don't wanna leave their place no matter what happens.I can understand your hardwork to filming the whole life of these people. I am glad that I have lived exactly same life when I was a kid, but now scenario has completely changed in Kinnaur , I hope Kinnaur doesn't lose the culture and tradition still left 🙏
It's a simple life made a.very happy and blissful one by humans living, working, coordinating, helping and bonding together as we were meant too. No one's left out or lonely here... we may have learnt modern education but it has not taught us how to live happily and in harmony with ourselves, others, animals and nature. I wish we all can love each other, work together and just live a normal life. The rich is unhappy mo matter how richer they get. This village reminds me on my home island of Cape Verdi in African. Taking care of the animal's crowing our own crops and sell they at the market. We still was poor my mom and dad had 9 children 5 girls,and 4 boys (lazy at times😆) I use to carry water for miles on my head from the well. I was only 7 years old feed the animals and collected eggs from the chicken coop. No live in US ugh at times... i have illness that i didn't have back home.😪🤒🤕😩 RIP: MOM AND DAD🙏🙏🙏🙏💕💞💓💗💖💝💛🧡❤💜💙💕

Last 2 days it has been snowing here around 15 inches near Kufri Village. No light here since a day but no traffic noise and tourists. BEST time of the year I enjoy till it gets minus by 7pm. HAPPY first snowfall from Himachal snowfall Dec. 14th 2019..

Amazing documentry! I spent some time in spiti during summer. I was always curious to know how their lives would be during harsh snow.. thanks for taking us in your journey. I wish I could spend my time forthcoming during the winters. I am keen to experience it. Thou I know it's not easy trying to adapt at such temperatures. Really appreciate your work during those times. You've done a fabulous job!

Maybe they'll consider me. But who is to say that I'll consider them back? 🙂 I enjoy working alone and doing things at my own pace. Making these videos and documentaries is not really my end goal. My main motivation is to satisfy my own curiosity to see and experience life in these places.
We feel we have always have big problems in life, watching this gives a cold chills. Only your passion and love could make this kind of videos, really a great salute my friend.

Comparing to these people we are living a waste life they are very happy even though they dont have all facilities but nothing is greater than happiness loved these people and wanted to go there waiting for that time
