As a candle lover myself AND a former walmart employee. I can personally garuntee. We don't give a crap. Heck we'll probably join you if nothing is going on. (Or at least I will) the only time it bothers us for a customer to smell something that is supposed to have a fregrance to it. Is air conditioners. Cause you have to spray it to smell it, which wastes the product before it's even been bought.

As a pretty confident skiier, Kirkwood is a tough resort, and the Wall genuinely scares me. There's about a 5 foot drop off just to start the damn thing.

Walls/double diamonds are only really fun when they're very scarcely populated. At least to me. Because unless you do like. Daily maintenance sharpening your skis/snowboard, you're gonna have minimal control on those slopes that are very likely to be completely iced over. Which is fun when there's no one around cause you can just go NYOOOOOM, but if it's busy/foggy? Ya gonna run into someone bruv. No matter how good you are, sharp curves are basically impossible on those slopes, and your breaking distance to get to a full stop is like half a fucking mile. Which are your two options to avoid crashing into that snowboarder that decided to make a turn across the entire fucking breadth of the slope or that skier waiting for their friends to catch up in the goddamn middle of the slope. And no thank you, that happened to my Grandma and she was never able to ski again

I actually really loved this video because its very relatable, when I was 9 I went to a ski hill in Canada and man was that the most traumatic experience ever, my mom and her friend took us up the mountain not know how fricking high this thing was and then my brother started crying and I had a bloody nose :) 4 hours later were down the mountain and man I looked weird. everyone was staring at me and I realized I still had a ton of blood on my face. mind you I didn't have a jacket or gloves so I was just cleaning my bloody nose with my hoodie

Once something similar happened to me, I was skiing with my uncle and this was a 2 stop lift. One halfway up, one on the top. I didn’t realize this until my uncle got off on the halfway stop, guess who didn’t get off. So there was lil ~10 year old me, standing on top of a mountain. Alone. After a chat with the ski-lift operator i got to go back down, you know how it loops around? I got to go down it around the other side! Anyways I think I got off lucky with a lot less childhood trauma.

I think vacation spots are generally really kind places. Back when I was like 7 I was on this weekend trip where we stayed on these battleships. On our last day, all the adults went to the mess hall and some of us kids (there were teens with us) stayed in the room for a while. Eventually I look up from my Game Boy and everyone else is gone. I had the same experience with skiing as you. (I live in Wisconsin though.) When I was a kid my sibling took me to the top of the mountain, and pressured me to go down the double black diamond (cause it was the only way down). The only problem is that it was at night, and because it was windy all of the snow blew off leaving just a sheet of ice behind. I took off my skis and tried to butt-scoot down the hill, but couldn’t slow down, and ended up going faster down the hill than I would have if I just skied down. Hurt my tailbone and didn’t get better for weeks. If you plan to go skiing, MAKE SURE THERE IS LOTS OF POUDER SNOW

I live in Red River in the Rocky Mountains. I LOVE skiing and I always love going up to the top of the mountain and skiing down the black diamonds under the lifts. It makes you feel so cool when everyone is watching you ski like a boss.

The first time I went skiing I loved it and got ahang of it surprisingly fast, but my friend somehow thought that my quick progression suggested that I was capable of a black diamond. Mind you, this was night skiing too. Needless to say, I fell...a lot. Also for those who are wondering, "The Wall" is at Kirkwood Resort. She wasn't lying, that peak has straight up no way out but through double blacks.

0:56 Surprisingly, I agree. Although I live and was born in Finland (one of those few countries with a snowy winter), I actually don't like wintertime that much. I'm okay with snow and chilly weather, but the ice on the roads is the bane of my existence! Christmas is literally the only thing that makes winter season somewhat bearable for me, after which I can hardly wait for spring.😉🎄🎁

Similar story that happened to me I was 10 and we were going skiing. I saw this ski lift and wanted to go on it. I looked up and saw how high it actually was. But stupid dad thought it was a small hill so he forced me to go up alone. I got to the top and cried for help. Eventually one of the staff watching me called for help and another staff came up with this skimobile. I got a ride down and was really angry at my dad for the rest of the day but also really embarrassed so I tried hiding myself the rest of the day because “I was a failure and didn’t even try going down” according to my 10 year old brain.

If you want to go somewhere were seasons drastically change visually then you should visit Sweden. We have very colorful autumns, cold yet beautiful winters, wonderful springs and warm but not so warm you get heatstroke summers
