I've been having so much fun putting together outfits the last few months and since living in NYC I wanted to share what I've been wearing lately 😊 I would say that personal style has also elevated and matured a little bit and I've kind of figured out some things and found some staple pieces that allow me to always have something to wear!

Sustainability is always in style. People who keep up with trends and shop like nobody’s business are not only wasting their money but also feeding into the capitalist machine that doesn’t return anything in our favor. Repeat every outfit!!!!! Also thanks for the heat tech tip, I never thought about wearing hot layers to be able to wear cute outfits!!!

I love this video and all the outfits you put on Alia! Kudos to you for advocating for sustainability and being an outfit repeater. There is nothing wrong with that, in fact I think it makes people even more interesting because then they have to use their imagination and creativity to wear the same clothes in a different way. It’s been mostly 45-55 here and random 30-35 days when my feed were def cold and I need to find a solution for those colder days for sure 😅

I would advise against saying you’ve worn an outfit 7 times as though that’s so many times 😢 as this contributes to the idea people have watching influencers that repeating an outfit more than once is some massive achievement… looking at these pieces I’m presuming and hoping are made to last years and years and wearing them year in year out should be emphasized to get people thinking about clothes as long term investments
