Sun, rain, and a ton of wind. Luckily I have a great heating system in my remote hot tent and I was able to stay dry and warm all weekend. Also, the food was amazing!
I just totally enjoy your love for the outdoors and your fabulous cooking! Your such a soft spoken gentleman and really enjoy watching your videos!! It was such a pleasure seeing your mother and making beautiful memories with her along the side of your lovely girlfriend and your sweet puppy❤
Look at you working toward getting things ready for your winter there at your tent! I can certainly tell you’re a meat and potato man! I can appreciate that because I’m a meat and potato woman! It’s always nice seeing your trips out in the great outdoors. May the Lord be with you in each adventure! Mmmm pig, cow, birds, etc…looking good frying or dropped into that grease!!!
I like to wind down at the end of the day watching camping, fishing, bushcraft, outdoors stuff. So I'll be watching your full videos from now on brother. Keep em coming.
Jay loving the videos as always fella, looking forward to the snow videos when they come. Tough day for the UK today but you have raised a smile like always.
One of the few channels I watch that gets a thumbs up before I have even watched the video. Looking forward to the northern winter and more hot tent video's!
The greatest thing about Jay is that he films amazing videos, going 2 nights camp this weekend with my cousin thanks Jay for sharing your amazing video.
excellent see you gearing for that cold jay the stoves gots legs barrel in barrel out hah all in all the wind shots and the season change very nice thanks for the great videos you make✌
The meals were Chef worthy, and early fall camping was great. Just watching you prepare for winter camping, creates much excitement and anticipation. Jay l could NEVER watch your video for 6 minutes and turn it off. Your much too exciting for that! Keep them coming!😊
This was great! I liked watching you hike and canoe to your tent, but I know you prefer to snowmobile in. It's hard to believe that the lake will be frozen again in 5 or 6 weeks. Your winter comes early; I hope it's a good one this year. And it was a real treat to see the Northern Lights once more.
Hello Jay you always cook such delicious food 😋 I really enjoy watching your wonderful videos please be careful outthere you never know what can be out there your friend Rosa
Who doesn't love salt beef??!! I was raised on that and still love it to this day. Adds a great flavor to all the vegetables that is cooked with it. Must be an East Coast thing, wicked!! lol
I'll never get tired of the great views you have at the tent, fall is my favorite time of the year and soon enough the leaves will be turning and frost will fill the air. Been a warm summer here, looking forward to the cool air drifting south from your location
Greetings from The Netherlands you're a great story teller and I like to watch your video's. Keep the good work and make sure you stay safe during your trips!
What a cozy video especially when there was a blustery day and then rain! You sure got your exercise moving the stoves Your meals looked great too Take care and happy camping 🇨🇦❤️🌲
Jay, have you considered, a small light weight. Yet sturdy, hand truck/dolly to use for moving the stoves in/out or wherever. Also a fire extinguisher size bear spray & Dirty Harry style side arm. 12gauge with slug's. A big ole Bowie knife.. Looking forward to this season of videos. Keep on Rock'n 👍
I have like 4 favourite camping RU-vidrs that I follow closely Jay Camping with Steve Dave Up north of 60 Emporium Outdoors These are down to earth and good wholesome guys
My favorite time of year has always been fall / autumn until the ice forms on the shores. Your photographic skills are great, the moon rising and the northern lights are a joy to watch. Thanks so much for sharing with us Jay. Sudbury Ontario .
It's so relaxing to watch your videos. Your gorgeous tent, beautiful scenery, great cooking keeps me glued to the tube. I'm looking forward to your snow vids soon. Thanks, friend, you are awesome.
Winter is coming and I am looking forward to Jay's videos, with the first snow falling on the ground, logs crackling in the stove's fire and a good meal, that somehow makes me drool every time I hear him go "mm" "mmm" "oh, man" 😋😋😋
Ya know what Jay? I subscribe to alot of off grid channels. But I have to say that you would be my 1st choice if I could choose who I'd like to share a campfire with and just shoot the breeze, or just sit quietly and listen to the wind in the trees, the fire crackling. just being present in the moment. Fav part of this video was at 18:09. That was an awesome time lapse! Keep em coming my friend!❤
Oh, man - rain on the tent roof, a fire in the stove. I could loop that all night and be perfectly happy. The bricks in the stove almost killed me, though... 😂
I've counted! 155 geese (at a minimum) It got hard even with enhancing the view, so potentially up to 162. Considering the human eye vs a computer screen shot, I'd say his estimate was quite awesome. Even at 50% I'd bet that a majority of viewers couldn't do much better of a count from the point of view Jay was in. Always awesome videos! side note, try syncronizing 155 people on the regular, nature is powerful for sure
Almost cold enough for snow. Next video I imagine. Good idea to get the stove burn done while it's still warm enough outside. Turned out great too. Next up is riding the machine across the ice. Thanks for posting. I always enjoy the Northern Lights.
I love watching your videos, especially during the snow season. Have you thought of doing a camping trip out in the forest away from your main camp/tent? Keep up the great videos and stay safe!
Loved it jay and winter soon ! I dont need to heat my house in the UK's cost of living crises i just watch you on my 50 inch tv and your great stove keeps me warm ! lol look forward to the cold nights ! Thanks Little john from the UK
Hi jay, i always like your videos and enjoy very much watching what you are doing. Wow can't believe in a few weeks time you'll be able to walk over a frozen lake but i love watching you deal with such massively freezing temperatures, you sure get it brutal over there.
looks like the woodstove paint job turned out really nice Jay and ya it won't be long and you'll be able to walk to the tent, beautiful scenery in this one around 44.00 its nice to be out in the woods this time of year getting ready for winter, i was at my cabin last weekend and had the best bear encounter ever, i got to watch 4 bears about 100 yards away for just over an hour, sow and three cubs, what a circus them cubs put on lol, mom definitely had her paws full ha ha, the noises them bears can make is really different than what most people would think they would make, but at least they didn't chew on my four-wheeler this time
You're making me hungry with all that good cooking, man! And when you were talking about having a big spread with turnips and cabbage and everything, I was ready to catch me a plane up to Newfoundland and dive in! Lol! Gimmie!
Take Care of your Back. Do not damage it, because once Damaged, it will never be replaced and enjoyment of the things you enjoy now may be gone forever. Do not strain or over lift things you shouldn’t even be attempting.
Jay I made a comment some time ago about putting 2 lumps of Coal about the size of a cantaloupe in the fire before you go to bed. It will keep you warm all night and will be coals to start your fire in the morning. At least it does for me . You might try it. Thank you Jake McClellan
Wicked video Jay. Nice that Fall is here and I can watch your videos at my Cabin in the evenings. Love me some Jigs Dinner for sure. And steamed pudding and custard for dessert.
Wow awesome video. Can't believe it's already 40-50 degrees there. We are still hitting low 90's down here in Virginia! Can't wait to see some snow camping videos! We barely get snow here anymore but we do get some crazy snow every once in awhile but never had a frozen lake here
