I did super small twist and ended up taking them out after 2 weeks. Hair started matting and it was about to inadvertently become a permanent hairstyle (loc's). Id recommend to anyone else that they crochet the middle and do individual twist on the perimeter (for an easier take down).

I've been saying the same thing. Alot of us are more healthier at 40. Regardless of what doctors say also more settled. Mentally stable. . If I could do it again i would wait until like 42. And the twist look so natural. So pretty😊

I just did these in a flip over style. Too cute. I will say this, your hair is at a great length for braiding. Long enough to be long, yet short enough to not take 3 days....like me. I was ready to cry😂😂😂

Hey Hun, first time seeming you on here. I understand why ur waiting till ur 40. Just remember as we get older we also lose patience. We cannot tolerate noise and foolishness. In ur 40s you not gon want to get up 3 and 4 in the morning to fix bottles. Or change diapers. Especially considering it would be ur first time. Also you might not know this. But once ur 40 you are now considered high risk for ur pregnancy. Which means extra dr visits. Them poking and monitoring you every min. You’ll be better off starting now. Of course do what you think you should do. Please don’t take my comment wrong. I’m just informing you. Because people don’t tell you everything. Anyway, love the hair. I love twists. And been wanting to do it in my daughter’s hair instead of plaits. Just wasn’t sure what type of hair to use. I’m skills in styling and hair care. Just not in weave. I’m guessing I would have to get over 20 inches. Because 18 seems so short. I like the way that hair looks. Don’t look like it will tangle so easy like some of the Afro hair. You made the stying look easy tho. So I shouldn’t have a problem myself. Enjoy ur day. ❤😊

I certainly could have used this video like three months ago! I have quite a bit of hair and past shoulder length and decided to install faux locs and not those premade locs either! I was a wrapping fool!…took me a few days but didn’t really like it so then I went back in with regular braiding and twisted it in. I was pleased but way past my breaking point after cutting a couple of inches off of a few locs prior to adding the braiding hair. Anyways it was so satisfying watching your video though! I really love the end results on you!
