I want to share with you how much your wonderfully beautiful videos (and this one is a favorite now) have shored me up during the last eight months of my now deceased husband's life. He passed away, without pain, on Friday June 7, 2024. And Glory be to God, I had this wonderful video waiting for me on Sunday. I can not begin to thank you enough. Looking forward to the next hike with you

I fell in love with The Lakes when I was a kid. It was always my intention to move there in later life, but that never happened, which is why these episodes bring such joy and comfort all these years later. Thanks so much for putting these out on a regular basis, they really are wonderful to watch.

Stunning Glenn. The landscape in his video was very special and interesting. Not done the route and was very amazing by this place. I will do this Route very soon and take my time to fully enjoy the incredible landscape.... WOW!!! I could walk the Wainwright's forever with you, and never want series videos to end. I have done so many of your routes after seeing your videos and all is very special indeed. You will look back at all this videos in years to come with such fondness and the greatest of memories to keep forever. its like saving your life on video, and many other people will watch these videos for decades to come... Kindest regards... 👍👍👍 Your videos are like a video diary for yourself to look back upon when you're old with the fondest of memories..... ❤ You put so much into these videos capturing the best nature has to offer for that we are all truly grateful and thankful.

Nice one Black Crag. Got to agree with you there, my favourite place in the world. Not a fan of summer walking, hot and sweaty, running out of water and the amount of people about. Been staying in the valley early December for the last 5 years on our boys winter walking weekend. Got caught in the snow bomb which hit last December. Absolute carnage. We couldn't get up high as it was blizzard conditions in the valley alone. We just did a big loop down the valley and back. We left our lodge at about 09-30 with about 3 inches of snow on the deck. By the time we got back at about 15-00 we measured 14 inches outside our lodge front door. At least the pub was open, so it was in there for us till closing time!!

Absolutely tremendous! Great footage mate, I've got to agree, it's some of the best & 'secret' scenery in the Lakes. Excellent sheep shooting BUT my FAVOURITE bit was the demon cow at the start, I've never seen a more laid back, lounge lizard of a cow in my life 🦎🐮😂 - Totally loved it 👍😀

I haven't been up along that ridge for years. It was winter and there was snow, but the light was fantastic and I got some great shots looking back with the sun turning the Duddon Estuary gold. I might have enhanced that just ever so slightly in processing. I do wonder whether Dow Crag might have been an Ordnance Survey mis-hearing/misspelling of 'Doe Crag'. It would fit better with Buck Pike. Edit: Note to self, watch video to the end before commenting.

Brilliant. Thank you for sharing this walk. We did the mini version back in April, hiking up to Seathwaite Tarn via the service road then followed the same route as yourself back to the main road. Heat and tiredness with some of the group we followed the road back to the church hall. We could see people hike up to Doe Crag and beyond. Now I know what to expect next time. What views. And the river walk, stunning. ⛰️🥾👍🏼🍻

That's the way I was going to do the Old man via Dow/ Doe crag and make Old man the last fell of the day. Weather even down here in Essex today and the next few days a high of 14c, unbelievable for this time of year. -8 windchill in June is crazy. As always, I have had a most enjoyable couple of hours watching your videos tonight. Thank you to the saviour from a flat Essex. Always feel like I'm back there when I watch your videos.

Great video in difficult conditions. Just come back from a weekend walking the Shropshire hills and the wind chill was pretty bad even up there, was glad I had extra layers to chuck on! Yet only a month ago I got cooked on Striding edge and Helvellyn, it was scorching. Absolute craziness with the weather lately, not surprised you needed hat and gloves despite it being June!

What’s the big secret….. plenty hikes all over the highlands with the name in description or video when you pronounce the name - not to mention you pronounce them wrong, so why not include the correct spelling for viewers.
