I do a very similar ritual. I tell my students if they can’t burn it, bury it- even in a house plant- for the winter & then burn it outside when the weather permits.

Hi Stormie! Question for you, if it's not too personal! You mentioned "Elevate" as one of your previous annual Solstice words. Do you mind expanding on that word and what it means? It really resonated with me, and I'm really trying to raise my vibrations (through different ways) and get in touch with my higher-self in 2022. Is this along the lines of what you meant? Shiiiiiiit. That word taught me a lot! It was my 2020 word and I intended to make a COURSE out of everything it taught me in 2021 but I just never got around to it lol (still want to though). It really taught me about yea, raising my vibration but that just seems like an oversimplification. It taught me about alignment, what it means to be in flow, what manifestation is and isn’t, working with divine will. It was surprisingly big word. Not own I could really summarize. But if raising your vibration is the goal and you’re willing to honestly and sincerely reevaluate what you think that even means, it’s a great word to focus on for a year ☺️ best wishes 💗
