The Forbidden City, the Forbidden City, was the palace of twenty-four emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Forbidden City was built in the fourth year of Yongle (1406), Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty, and was completed in the eighteenth year of Yongle (1420). The largest palace-shaped building in existence. The Forbidden City in Beijing is the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units and the first batch of national 5A-level tourist attractions. In 1987, it was selected into the "World Cultural Heritage" list. The Palace Museum is now the Palace Museum, and its collections are mainly based on the palace collections of the Ming and Qing dynasties; it is a national first-class museum in China.
