Dan and I went for winter trout fishing in White Clay creek in Newark, Delaware. Dan wanted to catch his first ever freshwater trout, so he accomplished that. He caught one. 😁 The bite wasn't great, buy for mid January I'll take it any day.

Had a blast Yura. Glad I was able to join you and get my very first rainbow. Before you know it they'll stocking the creek very shortly and I can get that brown!

The spring stocking time is crazy. I never go on season opening. But, we sure can go a week or two after opening day.

I wish we had those types of creeks down here that didn’t have giant alligators in them waiting to kill you lol. I miss that type of fishing. Great video.

Yea. They stock some nice size fish and trout get a few months to grow in the winter.

what part of of white clay is this? i live near deerfield and want to get back into trout fishing (grew up in central pa, with some of the finest brook trout fishing there is)
