You really should back into your parking place for the night. Easier to drive out if a lot of snow, easier to jump car battery, easier to leave quickly if in danger, and your bed is facing away from anyone driving by who might hit your van.
Cool share. That life takes some getting used to. I have done it for four years and that means through four PA winters, lol. I have a truck insert camper and believe it or not, I "safely" installed a Danchel woodstove in it. Without any heat at night means that you have to learn how to layer your covers. 20 degrees and windy outside means using three thick covers and will keep you warm down to zero degrees. LOL, below zero means you need a fourth cover. When getting up in the morning in such extreme weather, well, hey, you get used to it until you get the heat going. Take care.
It certainly does. I know once I've been on the road for about a month I start to get acclimated pretty well. I've seen quite a few campers with wood stoves and I always thought it was neat but I don't quite trust myself with that just yet lol. Thanks for checking out my video!
@@danielsbegg Yeah man. When you get a sec, check Kimbo campers on RU-vid. That will be my next one. Light as a feather. I will let ya' know when I make a video on camper, slash, woodstoves and the best way to modify them to meet your needs.
Fun vlog...maybe mention outside temps throughout trip and yes, you need to get thermal temp. blackouts on widows to hold heat and privacy, but the curtain works for now.....temping fate on snowy roads at night dude!
Hi...first time here....excellent video...u have a nice soothing quiet voice...and ...not to be creepy or cougary...u r quite easy on the eyes...ahem...anyhoo...I've been a fulltime van dwellers for 14 years ..my career at van life started in rosebud SD...u ever been there bro? Very exellent video ..looking forward to the next...keep on truckin
You know, I like your van. It's a good size to have a bed in there and other stuff for travel. I was watching @Traveler's Tale RU-vid channel and I think your van would be able to do somewhat similar to his van. I could tell that his van is a bit longer than yours, but it can be set up to where it can hold in heat or have interior heat besides using the van's heating system. If that does not work out for you, I suggest an Anker powerhouse battery? you know, the one that could last up to two to three days? and have a heater inside the van to keep the van warm. It is just a suggestion, but I like your video.
