Thanks for the update. I am also the very happy owner of a 2008 Breva 750, wonderful bike!

Hi Mike, thanks for the update. I am still looking forward to the Breva throttle balance video, I like the way you explain things and am sure it will help me. When you fit the heated grips, it would be great if you could share that with us as well as I am thinking of adding these as well. Regards from UK Paul

I've got a set of good condition original indicators. Shame I'm half way round the world.

Can I be so bold as to make a request for a video showing how to change the fuel filter on a Breva? I've got a V7 Classic and your videos have made me comfortable doing the maintenance jobs I'd probably be too daunted to undertake otherwise.

Enjoyed the video Mike. Happy to see your wife chose to go with another Moto Guzzi. They're really nice bikes. It's a shame more people don't get it. RIDE SAFE MIKE. The V100 Mandello could be a big hit for MG.

Congrats on the new Breva ! I love mine that has only 40000km. I would get another one too if I had to change. I also have other motorbikes but I am attached to the Guzzi. Cheers!

Thanks for your new video! What do you think about ABS, above all to prevent panic stop? Have you considered a V7 or V9 instead of Breva?

Mike, there is a 1990 Lemans 1000 for sale here in the states. 60k miles, looks really good in pictures but not ridden or seen the bike in person. Has 18" front wheel and Bub exhaust system. Looks like owners has taken care of it. Doesn't have the lower fairings.

Hi Henry, a good service history is key to a trouble free purchase of a 30 year old Guzzi. Mine had no service history and required a bit of work over the first couple of years. Things like wheel, swing arm and steering head bearings. Fork, rear main, gearbox and bevel seals and a new clutch plate etc. The only major issue I had with my 30 year old Le Mans 1000 was valve guides and pitted cam followers.

@@MikesMachines seller doesn't have service history. But says previous owner stopped riding at age 82 and he was a racer but this bike was his daily ride and kept his bikes up meticulously. Bike hasn't been painted . It looks good has 18" front wheel. That's all I have to go on without actually seeing and testing 🙃

@@MikesMachines it's on the group Moto Guzzi 's for sale $4250.00

@@MikesMachinesit has 40mm Del ortoes. I feel like if it cranks good, runs down the road/shifts good and stops good and body work is in good shape that it would be worth the 4250. Might come off a little more with cash in hand. Mike how do you like owning yours?
@MikesMachines
@MikesMachines Год назад
I love it but I have owned a lot of Guzzis since the seventies so I am biased. It handles well but does require a bit of counter steering to hustle it through tight corners. The brakes are a bit weak by modern standards but there's plenty of engine braking. The suspension is quite good for the period and the bike is very comfortable on longer rides. But most of all it's very reliable. Mine has never left me by the side of the road.

Hi Mike, how come the new Breva appears to have the rear shocks fitted upside down? Was this a Moto Guzzi modification, changed by a previous owner to access the adjustment easier, or simply a mistake?
@MikesMachines
@MikesMachines Год назад
I suspect this was done by the previous owner. Operation of the shock doesn't seem to be effected so I might leave it this way.
