Join us! Let's start our walking tour from Maxim Gorky Square (00:00:00). We will pass the Sverdlov Palace of Culture on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street (00:31:30) and walk through the street sales of paintings, vinyl records, badges, and medals. Further on our way, an amazing building of the state bank, built in the neo-Russian style, has been adorning the center of Nizhny Novgorod for more than a century (00:37:44). During the October Revolution, practically the entire gold reserve of Russia was stored here. One of the city's highlights is the Nizhegorodsky Kremlin (00:56:02) and the beautiful embankment (1:26:22), from where an impressive panorama of the ice-covered Volga River opens up. With the nightfall, we return to Maxim Gorky Square, where we will complete our virtual journey. People wander from work or go for a walk, and the city begins to glow with hundreds of lights and shop windows. A beautiful city with a long history, it retains the memory of its heroes on its streets, but like any big city subtly changes to please the times.
