Winter Weekend Escape - Catching Cod Edward River

Thanks very much for the feedback. I'd love to do the videos more regularly but we have to schedule around work commitments for Kurt. I love spending father and son time with Kurt in the bush and I'd prefer to do the trips with him. 🙂 BTW, Chris Bamman is one of my faves too. I hope he doesn't mind me having a bit of fun with some of his signature moves. Stay tuned, Spring is around the corner and we have lots of ideas for videos in places that you don't get to see on RU-vid much. 🤠✌

The main reason for going to Deni is that we have fished the Edwards in that area a couple of times in the past and really enjoyed ourselves and had some good success with the fishing eg. during one trip 15 cod were landed on one boat in a day. An additional factor is wanting to try somewhere different to the usual suspects around here, like the Ovens, Murray and King Rivers which we fish regularly. That's not to downplay how good the bush is around here. As your videos show, there is some amazing, beautiful country within half an hour of where we are!👏 Our main aim is to get out and have adventures involving family and mates and have a great time together. A couple of us are keen followers of Chris and consequently we thought we'd have some good humoured fun with some of his signature moves.😉 Thanks for watching and keep up the good work with your videos. ✌🤠

@@DeadsetDrongos ha ha all good mate I’ve only done the Edward’s once and it was a great weekend, I really need to get back there again.

​@@budget-adventure👍 it's a bit of a gamble down stream of Stevens Weir with river levels. We couldn't find a good source of info to check water levels in that section of the river and if it's low it can be a pain to navigate (assuming you take a boat). Tight lines! 🐋💪🤠

@@DeadsetDrongos yeah 2024 and there isn’t a good source for river nights still. Or they are a week old. But a good looking spot and they were biting
