I agree. My place of work is not corporate, yet many "work wear" videos are much too casual for my needs. This one was perfect! I also like the neutral palette; it's classy and timeless. The best thing about building a closet with a solid core of neutrals is that it multiplies the combination possibilities. Second best--if one gets bored, it's easy to throw a red scarf, a patterned shoe, or a colorful blouse on, and voila! Excitement!
i would love to see a “work outfits” for public transit commuters! there’s a balance to be had between comfortable and professional (walking, sitting on the train/bus for a long time), as well as dealing with drastic weather changes from morning vs. evening!
Your videos are so so helpful you have no idea!!! First of all not only you provide very good content but you link all the items so we can actually buy the pieces (and discover new brands at the same time) and for me the fact that I can relate to your size is just amazing! Bring on the XS and XXS and the petite figure!! I've struggled my whole life to dress up let alone dress up for work and look more mature as most clothes are too big and I can't shop the way most people do: I enter a shop and I already know that 90% of the clothes won't fit me, so between what I like and what fits me there's not much left to wear... :/ So your work is so much appreciated!! :)))
For warm base layers, Uniqlo can't be beat. Their "HeatTech" line is phenomenal and very fairy priced. It includes turtlenecks, tank tops, crew neck tees, and long sleeve tees with scoop necks that disappear under button downs, as well as leggings in "extra warm" and "ultra warm" versions that keep you toasty without adding bulk. They are incredibly soft, too, so much so that I like sleeping in them!
Your styling videos are unparalleled in that they’re highly comprehensive, packed full of resources, extremely aesthetically pleasing, and ACTUALLY show things people can wear in their real lives.

I am not only excited because they seem very fitted and won't add bulk, especially for those of us that are curvy but the Company is an ethically responsible one. I have added them to my favorites. I love the looks! I would also recommend corduroy pants for the winter. I some times buy pants a little lose to be able to were leggings under. I work in a cold office so i wear Under Armor or Nike cold weather running thermal like long sleves that breath well and then over them I office clothing. Scarfs are a must too if you commute in the cold.
I'm so happy you posted this video and showed how you can wear base layers and really bundle up. I live in Chicago and it's FREEZING so these tips are helpful and realistic! Sometimes I see bloggers with outfits I could never wear in our winters here!

Erica, wondering if you can do a video about moving or traveling to a different environment with different style needs? I’m in Korea where it’s more formal, heavy winters and very cold, but moving back to Arizona soon, where it will be super hot and more casual. I’m looking for business casual options for work that are more elevated than a polo and khakis but don’t know where to start.
I can relate. I moved a couple of years ago from NYC to San Diego. Ironically my office in CA is so cold. I wear way warmer outfits that one would need outside. In NYC its much colder so the indoors are always well heated. I would buy a few items that breath well in the summer but find out the temperature of the environment you will be in at work. In CA it seems like AC is on blast even in the winter.
