I remember when when I first heard time 1 after waiting since 2006 and I litterally fucking cried. Having the same feelings now

At last! I laughed. I cried. I threw money at my computer screen. I had to be by myself for a while. I backed the project as soon as my shaking hands could type in the boxes. Maybe 2017 is going to be okay after all.

This will be my first ever crowd funding I take part in. This needs to happen and I support you guys. Thanks for all the current and future amazing music!

Watching this video and hearing the new material gave me the original 'Wintergasm', feeling thrilled, excited, sparkling and bubbling inside. They still have the thing that made the band very dear to me over ten years ago. Let the haters hate and complain, I'm very grateful and inspired that you keep pushing things forward. Big time. Wintersun has been one of my favorite, if not absolute favorite, bands of all time. I was 14 years old when their first album came out. I remember going insane when Time 1 was finally released with the promise of Time II following the next year. As we all know, this was not the case. When I heard about all the issues with Nuclear Blast and how Wintersun claimed to need their own studio to continue to create music, I was very vocal with my opposition to their mentality as well as their inability to produce music on a consistent basis. Does Wintersun DESERVE a studio? Not if it's going to be handed to them. What they do deserve is the right to sell you an insane package (at an extremely fair price) and do what they want with the profits. In this case, that would be building a studio. Anyone who refuses to purchase the package because "they don't deserve support" is, in my opinion, an idiot, not a fan, or both. You are buying a record to support a band and they are doing what they want with the money. That would be the equivalent of me not paying someone for a service and bitching about it because I didn't like what they were going to do with the money I gave them. Why the fuck should you care? Either support the band or don't. There's no reason to complain about anything at this point. This is a transaction. You are spending $50 and getting significantly more than just a record. So shut up and buy the package. Or don't. I know I will.

I totally see what Wintersun are doing here. I mean, for a band to progress so well, I truly support that. If there is something I can do, I'll try and see what I can do to help. I mean, we all don't have a lot of money, but money isn't my concern, my concern is, is that making sure a band does well, and to reach for the stars. Not to sound cheesy or anything lol, but this video got me in the heart a little, because I truly see how much they want to make KILLER music for themselves and others, but mainly for themselves!!!!! I'm not promising, but I'll see what I can do to at least help as a fan!!!! 😉👍

the riff in the Forest That Weeps is just incredible i can listen to it unstoppable, its like new Smoke on The Water riff, same simple but in the same time genial, it proves that masterpieces are still possible and happen in heavy metal music!!!
