@@karljensen6768 See, that's where you're wrong. The crowdfunding was done under the premise AND promise that it will be used to build a studio and push out music in a short amount of time. Not decades again. I'm certain if the had said that he's gonna just blow it and never going to deliver, I'm certain the crowdfunding would've failed. The whole patreon is something different. There was no promise to anything, go and drop your money. But the crowdfunding campaign was an obvious scam.

@@euphoreonz Where does this information come from? I mean that Jari has blown the crowdfunding money on bad crypto investments? The only source I've seen is one RU-vid-comment that I can't even find anymore, and has since been spread to other videos and Wintersun's Facebook page. I mean, it could be true, who knows, but if this is only based on that one comment, it's pretty sad that people are spreading this as a fact.

He actually said in his Forest Season Documental that the new stuff was quite too complex to play and sing at the same time and that he would concentrate in the voice. He still plays and records every guitar.

I understand what you say, I agree that composing is challenging and requires time and resources. However, 3 albums in almost 20 years are... to much time. Nobody is saying that it is easy, we are complaining about the poor transparency and uninterest they put in their followers. Just see other examples of big bands doing it well: Leprous is a fantastic band, they realize new music constantly and it is fucking amazing. They evolve, they are experimenting and everyone is happy. Do not get me wrong, we do not need an album per year... even three years is reasonable but god... Time I was released 10 years ago. Forest Seasons is 4 years old. Bro, they posted this in May 2022: "Album 1 60% done (currently working on) Album 2 60% done Album 3 60% done Album 4 20% done TIME II 90 % done" Who the fuck do that?! Just finish something, my god. And we are not haters because we want more music, we love them and their work. It is an amazing band but this is the worst thing I´ve ever seen from a group/artist. If they want to take their time (5-10 years per album) ok, it is their project... but they must be transparent. If they want that rhythm, share your plans, it is the minimum for the audience that supports you. Just be clear and do not lie about the current status of your albums (like Time II, they said years ago it was finished, but their PC was a potato). To me, it was a lie. I love them, it is my favorite band but this is not the way they should treat audience. Cheers.
