This reminded me quite a bit of Bal-Sagoth, especially the spoken vocals.

It’s 100% of old Ensiferum and thats awesome!

I hear lots of elements from Token of Time and I really enjoy this one. Would fit the debut in my ears. And of course Wintersundays is great as always🤘

I felt the same way. After years and years of waiting, they release a little teaser like that? Come on, bro. I know they can do better. I know Jari can do better than that. If they stopped making these little teasers and focused on releasing a full album, maybe with a few bonus tracks ASAP, I'd be happy. But I gotta say, after a wait like this, if the new tracks aren't kick ass, I'll drop Wintersun like a bag of dog turds and never listen to their content again. 100%. Artificial intelligence develops to the level where it can create ready-made music and then Wintersun starts publishing songs. Coincidence? I think NOT!

i mean yeah that wintersun song wasn't great by all means, but compared to alot i have heard that shit was a masterpiece....you guys are clearly not checking out any of the number of random U.S black metal bands that can be found on Bandcamp.........and these are not young and inspiring musicians like Jairi, these are 40 year olds in their uncle's moms basement trying their damnest to be Kvlt and nordic. but that said i wasn't offended at all....... admiration can come in various forms. not always in fluffed flower form.

Jari is an amazing musician, but unfortunately my perception of all his music is now tainted with the money grabs and disrespect to fans.
